    The knowledge in this video is excellent. The level of detail and the way it is being delivered made it easy for me to set proper timing in my trooper and complete my engine rebuild. THANKS!

    Watched the 3 part series and took away the fear; really good video. Thank you.

    Damn Isuzu made this overly complicated and completely unnecessary. Drive the exhaust cam internally from the intake cam and a cam timing belt sprocket directly mounted on one of the cams is so much easier and less complicated. No under drive gear ratios requiring valve cover to be removed. This is a great explanation of the set up. It looks like a factory training video.

    This is %100 on if you follow this no issues #2 TDC, HALF MOON TIMING MARK that lines up with oil pump bolt to left of crank, click to 12 on passenger side , then click to 9 and turn to 12 on driver side .all set %100

    This is for DOHC correct? The timing marks differ on the SOHC more like 11 o'clock on the left and 2 o'clock on the right. Just need to know if it is the same procedure.

      This is for 98 and newer. They are all double overhead cams.

    Hi there, is this procedure the same for earlier 92 3.2 DOHC 6vd1 engines?

    I thought this was an interference engine??? If #2 is at TDC how are you able to rotate cam pulley without concern or mention of piston/valve contact???

    • @leion800
      @leion800 5 років тому +1

      the are not. from what ive seen the only ones that are interference are the 4 cylinder, and the direct injection.

    As said earlier, this procedure DOES NOT apply to the 2004 3.5l direct injection engines. Let me know if anyone is looking for that. Dont care to but I'll post a video on it if I have to

  • @jonicook60
    @jonicook60 6 років тому +1

    This will not work on the 2004 direct injection 3.5

      Correct!

      That engine is also an interference engine. If the timing belt breaks, there will be damage.
