Current Queens'colours based on the New Zealand ensign are sadly not up to the standard of an early Kings colour lodged in the Auckland War Memorial Museum. The needlework and detail are outstanding. Current guidons and colours manufactured outside of the United Kingdom lack the finish, rich embroidery and detail that British Army guidons and colours. A quick comparison with QAMR's current guidon, and a Royal Tank Regiment Standard will prove the point. Although different in shape, the workmanship is apparent.
