Tu meke e hoa. You Kiwi soldiers were spoilt aye. Mind you.. after a 3 week stint in the Malaysian Jungle in support of the Royal Malay Forces. Who were still actively tracking down the last of the Communist Terrorists in the "Communist insurgency in Malaysia (1968-1989)"... you guys certainly deserved it. Was fitting you guys returned to New Zealand in 1989, the same year as the last terrorists surrendered and signed the "Peace Agreement of Hat Yai 1989" Onward NZ Forces SEA.

Thanks for sharing or NZDF History JMF. Those poor locals got ripped off by the big mining company's that made millions and millions and destroyed their environment. No wonder they took up arms-! A too familiar story of white colonialists STEALING tribal lands for their own resources and giving back NOTHING-!! (big corporations still trying steal that mine land as it still has billions worth of copper. A TRAGIC story indeed still being silently conducted all over the world as main stream media dont report it :-( This was made worse by the barbaric why the "western" governments treated them. "Sending soldiers without guns was condemned by the media" Fuck the media (propaganda tool of the west).... well-!! Kiwi Soldiers with Guitars only, seemed to have worked-!! Fuck the UN I say. Proud to be a Kiwi. ONWARD.
