SOD2 is the best zombie survival game of all time. I’m a SONY guy & watching ur series years ago is what got me wanting to play SOD2 so bad that I built my pc. Last years updates and sons of the Forrest coming out made me upgrade my rig to a 3080ti with a 7 5800x3D. (I thought I did it for Starfied too but that was a big let down) anyway I love enjoying the best of both worlds. I still play SOD2 regularly now & I CANNOT WAIT FOR SOD3!!! HYPEEEEE!
I actually just picked this game up two days ago without ever knowing it existed and I'd have to agree. Best zombie game ever!

I've always been a Sony guy too but I LOVED the first one my roommate has an Xbox and my PS4 controller has unbelievable stick drift most games are unplayable because I'm fighting the drift so I bought gamepass and I've put an ungodly amount of time into State of Decay 2 alone the replayability of this hame is incredible. 4 playthroughs for the different heroes alone. 5 playthroughs on maps alone and 5 difficulty's to test on every map
I enjoy this and project zomboid myself
I have to turn off curveballs because it makes my game crash so often when they are on!:(

@@BrianMenard Yes i am defiantly learning alot, and funny thing was, that I got the Black Heart with the curveball 2x now. Its a Black Heart because it doesnt care if my survivor dies. LOL
Another strategy with the plague Hearts if you didn’t know this already. Boomboxes and fireworks are also extremely underrated. Before you start a plague heart you can place a boombox/firework several meters away from the plague heart. Wait for it to become active before hitting the plague heart. The zombies including the ferals will be distracted by the noise and will not be aggrod. You can usually get about 2/3 of the plague hearts health with a heavy weapon by the time the noise subsides to zero.
Really? I'm not playing on Lethal so maybe they're..less?..reactive, but I feel like I've used fireworks and then get swarmed instantly when I attack the heart.😊
I rewound to watch the "hadouken" four times. These are terribly fun and informative to watch! Can't wait to try out your heart strategy!
They need to add tanks to this game, Brian's cars always look like junkyard rejects 😂😂😂😂😂
this helps so much. im so bad at lethal but have been playing for years. i have to have modded charactersa to help me. im using this guide to practice with my modded characters then ill do a fresh start please dont stop sod2 videos ive been following your guides for years now and honestly you dont look youve aged now that i think about it. also found out that you were ex mil last video so thankyou for your service my mans
I took a month off from SoD2 and just recently jumped back into two of my lethal communities. I lost 2 members from each community in one day. Goes to show never underestimate lethal, it will find a way to punish overconfidence.

I am on my first playthrough through Lethal and without your videos i wouldn't have a chance (I really died everytime on Day 3 or 4)
Now it feels almost very challanging but i can handle it.

love watching these in between playing my first lethal playthrough, i just got the game a few days ago and beat it on dread(way to easy and arcadey). Lethal is way more my type of difficulty. Learning a lot and adapting your playstyle. Thanks for this series.

Show how you choose the bounties, complete and then collect them....some people may not know.......but yeah, Great series and I LOVE the game so keep it going !!!!!

Great video. Really been helping me out with lethal. Literally, I had one of my characters die within the first 10 minutes, and i was about to restart. Then im like, "f*** it," they're all fresh characters anyway! Thanks for your uploads man. They help alot
Watching this has helped me get the confidence to actually start a Lethal zone today. I'm getting there... ferals and jugs really scare me still, but I'm getting there! Started on the same map so it felt the same. See how many days I can survive 🤷♂️
Until I started lethal I didn’t realize how valuable cooking can be that huge bonus to that feast plus crafting tons of energy drinks.

That sleep feature is nice. Last time i played i tried survival Hears had like levels to them, i like to play slow but early game was getting bombarded with hoards, didnt even want to play because of it.
U can kinda kill freaks like juggernauts just to get influence points by outpost traps, but you need to make sure you attack it like using crossbow or pistols. It sure helps me to do bounty mission if it requires to use certain weapon to kill freaks. Btw keep doing what you do best as some of the skill i learned by watching your vids. Keep it up.

Ive played in easier difficulties and never really felt the need to graple zombies (just gone for auto executes)
My question is about keybindings for good grappling and tossing zombies into other zombies since that seems imperative to master to play on higher difficulties. How do you have your keyboard and mouse controls set up?

I key bind grapple to one of my mouse buttons. I use a naga so I have like 13 buttons on my mouse that I use for various things but yeah putting grapple on my mouse button really helped me a ton

1:13:30 you just bought ammo at the previous enclave for 1 influence per bullet. Then you said at this enclave you didnt buy the ammo because you wasnt gonna craft with it.
Is that because you dont have an ammo press for bullets? Or does it take more resources to make it yourself if you buy the rucksack?

The best gun IMO is any high mag .22 with an advance brake, they'll take out jugs and plague hearts in seconds
Do the stat bars for weapons actually matter? Or are they like the stats for GTA cars (completely meaningless)

You say your game is stable and doesn't crash (without mods), well I play on a Xbox One S and my shit crashes at least 3-4 times every time I play. Wtf. Anyone else have this issue? It usually happens when I am driving, or in a menu screen.

Hey brian there is a big fuel spot near base on the train tracks
He hit it in Episode 1 of the series at like the 1 hour mark. Great location for fuel on this map though.

For plague heart i just throw in everything in panic hahaha i threw 5 pipe bomb and 1molo then even called the mercenaries that attacks plague heart🫠😂 all for them to just watch lol i over prepped

I just record them and upload them. I’m doing them twice a week because I have to record on my off time when I’m not streaming so that’s all I can do atm.

It's always annoyed me how the survivors react so nonchalantly towards finding loose fuel cans. Those are pretty damn useful not like finding the way more common parts. Just wanted to share my mini rant.
