Yeah, I've seen it already in the engine, so that's why I was looking for it Looking at the mission file, it should have the skin already. I'll try to figure out why it doesn't work
@@michaelandreipalon359 I had an updated model of the ISD2 released by Vince T installed on top of the XWAU installation. If you don't have this, then the Chimaera skin should show up in the mission
You know, TIE Fighter let you choose the warheads you wanted. This clunker didn't. Always missiles or if you were lucky, torpedoes. But no, heavy bombs, heavy rockets, mag pulse warheads, whatever......NOPE. Not until you completed the missions on the first play. When I went back and replayed this mission, I Would arm the Falcon with Heavy Bombs and destroy EVERY Star Destroyer within the time limit while protecting every Rebel ship I could. I just went to town on the fleet. Felt rewarding to do it. And frankly. this mission should have made softening up the rest of the fleet the main goal, maybe destroy a certain number of ships to force the others to back off. And they SHOULD have let you choose your warheads. I don't know if the same guys who crafted TIE Fighter's campaign also did XWA's, but man did we need that magic here.
Well, in TIE Fighter, the warhead choices were not defined on a mission level, only the default loadout. They were defined on a global level. This changed in XWA to mission level. I would've liked more choices myself as well. How on earth did you have time to do all that in this mission? Unlimited warheads?
I may have to check out if some of the devs for TF were noticeably absent in XWA. After all, similar sequels like Homeworld 2 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 2011 got hampered because they didn't have key figureheads who made the first installments memorable fan favorites in comparison. I still preferred Heavy Rockets for more speed and armament guidance, in my opinion.
0:08: I can now understand the concourse bits here as set after the Battle of Endor was done. I can see the out-of-order state of the battle missions. 9:14: She's there to denounce you Rebel scum. 9:20: Oh, Accuser's here too, and poor Pellaeon, who's probably aboard the Chimaera. 19:13: Finally, no suddenness. Wait, why does Wedge Antilles, the second debriefer, sound like Emon?
0:08: We could consider these missions as Ace flying them in the simulator, tho the medal at the end would be strange in this case 19:13: That's a first :P
Sorry, but I don't see the point of playing those, as I already did a complete playthrough of the 1995 versions. Also, I think the 1998 version is inferior to the 1995 version anyways
Well played General Lp. The Death Star is now vulnerable!
Great work pilot! Lambda represent!
λ FTW!
But Ace isn't an Imp here.
The new ISD2 model does have a Chimaera skin, but the mission hasn't been updated yet to use it. :)

The issue was in my installation. If you have a 100% clean XWAU install, then it should work properly
@@LPhoenix100% clean?

@@LPhoenix Yep. Unlimited warheads. Those Heavy Bombs are like nukes in these games and so I just went to town with them.

@@michaelandreipalon359 Rockets were the best in TIE Fighter indeed
