Managed to get 2 months behind in your videos. Time to watch them all in one go.

You're not alone, I'm months behind on some other creators too. Thank you FeeBee 💕

You’re definitely getting stronger! That exercise at 13:26…I can only imagine how hard it is!
I hope you get those 1k subscribers soon and monetize the efforts you put into both changing your life and editing because you deserve it! 💜
I abandoned my monetized channel about a week ago and decided to start fresh. I thought I’d reupload my 2024 weight loss journey videos first and continue with new content, but I'm not sure if I will 🤷‍♀

Thank you!! I'm certainly not making it easy for myself 😅
Best thing I could suggest is make the content you want to make. Content you enjoy. If the weight loss videos would in any way relate to the theme of the channel, then it would be a shame to waste them. But if your new channel has nothing to do with fitness and weightless, it would attract the wrong audience.
Have a think about if the videos would benefit the channel or steer it in a direction you didn't want to go in and go from there.

@@ashjvlogs It’s going to be about weight loss again. The thing is that I’ve already had the wrong audience…The majority of my subscribers (like a solid 98%) came from a video that youtube mistakenly categorized as a sort of _O_F_ content (I was trying on my old clothes that don’t fit me anymore in that video) and it attracted a lot of creeps. The stuff I’ve seen in my ‘Content suggesting this video’ is absolutely stunning in a very bad way. It’s been over a year since that video, but UA-cam was still trying to push all my new videos after very questionable content, and it was messing with my head a lot. Like, if I lose weight, I want to put a before and after on a thumbnail without fearing the creeps will flow again asking inappropriate things.
I’m also just plain boring. English isn’t my native language, so I sound weird, and on top of that, I wasn’t making much weight loss progress, so since that video, I’ve never had any engagement, basically. No likes, no comments (apart from one person), and AVD was never higher than 20%.
So I just want to start fresh and either confirm to myself that I’m boring and unrelatable or see where it could get me because I do plan to lose weight and possibly inspire someone to succeed as well!
I’m not ranting, just thought such an experience might be interesting to you as a youtuber.
Anyways, I tried to be as vague as possible with expressions to not mess up your algorithm! Feel free to delete the message

@ElizabethStanishevska If it's about weight loss, no point in letting the 2024 videos go to waste. May as well use them to get the channel going and give yourself time to work on newer content. That's basically what I did.
Unfortunately I know what you mean about attracting the wrong audience. One of my videos on TikTok did the same. It was just a video of me doing push ups and shoulder pulls, that's all! but because I was very warm and was only wearing a sports bra, which is a valid form of exercise gear, it attracted people that left some pretty similar comments that I'm sure you've had. And I was getting a lot of messages from guys asking if I was single like TikTok is some kind of dating site. I've not posted on there for a while because of it, and think I talk about it briefly in one of my later vlogs.
Truth is, the downside of any social media platform is, it's public, and unfortunately that means everyone can see it. And unfortunately when that kind of audience finds it, it's difficult to get them to go away. I've just got to a point I ignore the comments and delete any messages with those kind of intents. Unfortunately they always pop up from time to time, but hopefully you'll grow a better more supportive following who can support you before that happens.
No one is boring. The only person who believes that is the person themselves. There is vloggers on this platform, with hundreds of thousands of views of them cleaning their kitchen, doing their laundry, making the bed, or just sitting and talking to a camera about anything for 20 minutes straight. Heck look at this video, to me this video is boring because I'm talking a lot, but people are always telling me how they can relate to me, how I inspire and motivate them. What seems boring to you, may not be boring to others, or can become less boring with some camera angles and video editing.
There's also multiple channels with people who have English as a 2nd, 3rd, or even 4th language and their pronunciation is terrible. But guess what! no one cares! they still get 10k, 20k, 50k views on their videos because they're real people that others can relate to. Don't let your accent or level of a language put you down! The fact you put the effort in to learn the language to a conversational level is a massive achievement!!! Majority of the world population can only speak 1 language, so you're already in the top 10% or maybe even 5%. Use your skill to reach a wider audience.
I wish you'd tell me the name of your channel, even just in a private message on UA-cam so I can support you like you've been supporting my channel. I'd love to support your journey!
As for weight loss, I'll let you in on an update. I'm currently in week 24, I'm still around the 104kg mark. My weight hasn't really changed. But my figure has! my strength has! my endurance has!! my stamina has! and my self confidence and overall health has improved!! Progress isn't just in your weight! it's in so many other things! and people notice and rejoice in those little achievements with you, just like you celebrated the fact I got stronger in just my 2nd week. You can still inspire someone even if there isn't much change. And don't worry, my average duration watch rate is around 7% at the moment 🤣🤣
Don't worry I know it wasn't a rant. Sometimes we just need to get some thoughts out to relieve some stress or emotion that's worrying us or weighing us down, and that's perfectly ok :) I'm more glad you felt comfortable enough to open up about your thoughts and feelings. And it's definitely an interesting thing, and something I know many UA-camrs, including myself have gone through, experienced or worried about.
And I have no intention of deleting the message. As who knows, maybe someone else will relate to it too, and find both your message and maybe this response helpful in some way. x

@@ashjvlogs Wow, I guess I missed you talking about your TikTok experience. Thank you for sharing it in your reply!
You’re right that thinking you’re boring is just your perception of yourself, and I also believe that thinking that way is very self-destructive. Unfortunately, I can’t overcome it (hopefully yet!)
I follow a lot of other people’s weight loss or fitness journeys, but I guess yours is the one I’m most interested in, even though my mindset is currently more set to a weight loss mode rather than a fitness mode. I also REALLY like the fact that you don’t use chatgpt in your replies to the comments. I couldn’t believe some people don’t think it actually shows. I mean, there are some standard phrases showing politeness, like ‘thank you for your encouragement,’ that both a real person and an AI would use, but when you sit, watch a video, take time to encourage a creator, and get a full chatgpt response, that’s like, why would you do that?
I bet your strength improvement is mind blowing at this point! It is definitely motivating to see others’ progress (and even struggles, because that’s relatable). I do hope more people will flow to your channel, and you can build a strong fitness community because a) you’re an inspiration for putting in the effort to improve yourself and b) you’re very thoughtful when it comes to replying to people!
I’m starting to sound too cheesy, so mwah 💜

@@ElizabethStanishevska You've not missed it, It's in my week 3 or 4 vlog.
That train of thought is very self-destructive. It's essentially a form of imposter syndrome. But I feel anyone chasing a goal has a battle with imposter syndrome at some point. The question is are you prepared to fight the battle, or let it win. It's not something you'll ever overcome. But the more you fight it and change your thought process, the easier the battle gets. Even I struggle with it, and nearly didn't post anything at all because of it. But I didn't want others, or my own inner demons to affect how I choose to live my life.
I follow some other journeys, and mostly female calisthenics channels, of which there is surprisingly few! As seeing others achieve what I'm trying to achieve gives me motivation. And those going through the same journey as me, weirdly makes me feel like we're doing it together. And that feeling of doing it with someone, helps me stay motivated.
I can confidently say I've never used ChatGPT! I wouldn't even know how to use it but i personally see using AI to do stuff for you is a form of cheating. It's fake and unrelatable. I can understand how it may help many people that are shy or not sure what to say, but I've also known too many people to use it to simply be lazy to get money. I don't like it. I'm also more gobsmacked that people would use it for something as simple as a reponse or a comment.
My strength has improved but I personally wouldn't call it mind blowing, but you'll see why in later vlogs. I've definitely had a few struggles and things affecting my progress, but I'll talk about that in week 22/23.
And thank you! I just hope my videos encourage even just 1 person to simply start and try do something they were too scared to do, or follow a dream they were once too scared to chase, thinking it was an impossible goal. When in reality, the only impossibility is in our own beliefs of our capabilities. I also hope your new channel attracts the kind of people you want too. Good luck!!!!
