I’m a new viewer and subscriber. I wish your channel or those like yours were around during my engineering journey, which crashed and burned🤣 I served 20 years as an Air Force aircraft mechanic before embarking on an aerospace engineering degree. I quickly discovered; there’s a HUGE difference between maintenance and designing. Although, I failed at engineering….the knowledge gained was ENORMOUS and I’m thankful because I’m able to help my kids in school, particularly math and science, where many parents struggle to provide assistance. Your channel provides real-world insight into the academic side of engineering, which is very much needed. There are plenty of engineers on UA-cam that taut their knowledge but, you fill the void of “How to get there,” “What mindset is required,” etc. My son and daughter are aspiring engineers and pilots. We’ll definitely stay tuned going forward. Again, thanks for what you do! You’re a great influence!👍🏾
you are very welcome! and i thank you for the kind words. im very happy that my content is helping.
I love how you asked about failing or almost failing. It’s so good to hear this from actual engineers while I’m going through school.
Im glad you liked it! yes i agree that its important to hear how other deal with failure.
Thanks so much for the interview. Looking forward for the next one. Please keep this series going, it's awesome!
glad you like it! next one should be up in the next couple weeks
This is pretty, as a chemical Engineering student, im really enjoyed watching this episode and listen to the amazing career of sara, thanks for made this amazing episode.
youre very welcome! glad you liked it.

Getting rid of the FE exam sounds like a nasty dumbing down of the curriculum so that those who otherwise wouldn't be licensed to be engineers become engineers. In the mid 1960's Boeing started work on the iconic 747 Jumbo Jet. The engineers used slide rulers for their math and physics calculations. The 747 is an incredible aircraft with an enviable safety record. Now Boeing's jets are falling apart in mid flight. Making it easier to become an engineer is a really bad idea.
