    There are 12 types of Hindu push-ups. This is called 'Ram Murti Dand' and is unarguably one of the most powerful of them. The first one shown in your video is 'Saadhaaran Dand' (normal Hindu push-up).

We are all ‘out of Africa’, and if you wanna go back 14-15 billion years, apparently all the matter in the universe was condensed into something the size of a pea. But still he was respectful enough to give credit to your culture bc that's where he possibly learned about it or got info stating that was its origin, but you still whine. Smh. A lot of things/info/knowledge are passed down through time and is modified or changed. Besides, you really don't want to talk about "taking from" or stealing. It is okay to push your limits sometimes to know where your limits are, but it is advisable to do your hindu pushups in sets.. like 3 sets of ten hindu pushups with a one minute break between sets . Do them everyday and add a few more pushups to each set each week. We don't want you exerting your muscles to the point of tendon injuries.

    These are known as Rammurti Dand here in India. They are named after the legend named Professor Rammurti Naidu. Rammurti was very very strong. He made world records back then. He held a full grown elephant on his chest for around 5-10 min and he use to stop a motorcar with his hands. He use to do these dive bombers by stopping his breath and hold it for a rep.

      How do you find them for building your pecs? I've been doing them too, but I still do regular pushups because as far as I can tell, I only feel the work in my upper-outer pecs.

    • @शतपथी
      @शतपथी 2 роки тому +1

      @@Durzo1259 yes, you're correct.
      I do another variation of push up for pecs,called VAKSHA VIKASHAK DAND.
      HPU isn't enough to grow large pecs but it is one of the exercises I'd do all my life. It targets whole of the upper body, glutes & calves.
      I've been doin em for 8 months now & have had no injury. Better than gym imo.

    Agree brother, divebombers are the best variation of all the pushups. I used to do them a lot and gained both strength and more definition in arms. And contrary to a popular belief divebombers are not the same as hindu push-ups. In divebombers you go back the same way you dived in. In hindu push-ups you go back by just raising your hips. That eliminate the additional benefits of the divebombers.
