Yes. I watch nigerian movie and I realize marriage can not be based on mere "feelings". I'm 16 and sometimes I wonder who I'll marry but I want to build my relationship with God before I jump into a relationship.

I always say that courtship and dating doesn’t solve marital issues. A man or woman can like to have same values with you but after marriage you see them showing their true selves. It’s just Gods grace
Yes, life happens during marriage and people change no matter what you do. Its literally God's grace and walking by the holy spirit that keep a marriage.
Women let us be Careful that we understand the difference between Forgiveness and Trust. Staying in a marriage as a forgiving woman, yet the man continues abusing you and/ or cheating on you.
Very important. You can forgive but it does not mean remain in the abusive situation.

@@ruhuomakejeh7633 Thanks for your comment Ruhuoma - definitely something to think about. For now, I don’t know how to respond - all I know is how I felt when I was faced with abuse in my relationship... I have left it now and reconciled but I know I never want to return to him.
