Oh Gena, when you talk about missing your Mother and Grandmother, you make me cry. I miss mine, too. I'm 66 years old and it never gets any easier, does it?! When you love someone, you will always miss them. I love your videos, your cooking, your songs and your family stories. I wish you could go on forever :) Your friend from South Dakota. Marge B
That's where I thought my dear grandmother and grand aunt I loved and miss so much were... in Heaven, but later I learnt that all who have died have gone back to dust (Genesis 1:7; 3:19) and they are not aware of anything now (Ecclesiastes 9:5) but one day they will be resurrected just like Lazarus was brought back to life by Jesus (John 11:11-14; 11:17-44; 5:28&29; Acts 24:15). God does not lie about the promises he makes and He also resurrected his beloved son Jesus as proof that all others will also come back to life. So, like me, Gina can hope to meet her Mum and grandmother again at that time. They are just resting in peace right now.
@@lizettegonsalves7878 as far as my reading and learning kbow that our bidy turns ti dust but soul never dies and remains alive for ever and does not loose it’s conscious or memory and those of deceased loved ones which have a good account with their Lord are permitted to visit their family periodically . @@sbg7262 I’m so sorry I took so long to read my mail and see your message. Thank you for sharing your experience. I too used to be confused about the condition of the dead and if they were really alive somewhere. Now I am not, because Jesus himself said that God’s Word is the truth (John17:17) so it has all the truthful answers. Jesus likened death to sleep (John 11:11&14) since God has the power to bring the dead, back to life, as He (God) did with His own beloved son, Jesus, when He (God) resurrected him (Jesus) on the 3rd day and He (God) gave his son, Jesus, the power to resurrect Lazarus who had been dead for 4 days (John 11:17 & 40-44). During those 4 days Lazarus was dead and not living anywhere otherwise he would not need a resurrection, if he, or as you say, his soul, was alive elsewhere, right s bg? Likewise He can awaken those who have died as Martha too believed in the resurrection on the last day, that is, some time in the future as also promised in John 5:28&29 and in Acts 24:15 which says that there is going to be a resurrection (in the future). It is so comforting to know that the dead have not been forgotten by God, don’t you think so? Also you may want to read Ezekiel 18:4&20. Both those verses say: “The soul (or person) who sins is the one who will die.” So the soul is the person himself or herself, just as it says at 1 Peter 3:20. And because we, all humans have inherited sin from Adam (Romans 5:12) we all die. But how good it is to know that one day even if we should die and become “residents in the dust” (Isaiah 26:19) we, “all corpses” will be brought back to life. The good news Bible says in that same verse “Those of our people who have died WILL live again! Their BODIES WILL COME BACK TO LIFE. All those sleeping in their graves will wake up and sing for joy. As the sparkling dew refreshes the earth, so the Lord will revive THOSE WHO HAVE LONG BEEN DEAD.” Does this explain better what I tried to write in my previous message? Sorry if it was a bit long… but I just love to share what I have learn from what is written in the Bible because it is so comforting and gives us hope.

I didn't think I could enjoy this woman and her show ANY MORE than I already do - and then she sang "Mamma"! Thank you Gina for all your wonderful videos. They are not TOO long. I feel that I am in the kitchen with you and if they were shorter I would miss SO much of the recipe. I am enjoying watching you cook more than I can express. I have an Italian grandma who was from Saracena, Calabria, Italy. She also was raised on a farm and loved to cook. She and my grandfather Fidele had a garden and lived in Connecticut. I miss them dearly. Hearing and seeing you cook is such a blessing to me. Thank you, thank you and God bless you dear Gina.
Signora sei meravigliosa. Today we made stuffed eggplants together. I was born in Australia from Italian parents; lost my darling mother 3 months ago and she cooked just like you. I’m so grateful for your videos. This way I cannot forget her recipes. God bless you ! 😘
I cooked this dish with a few modifications (added chopped mushroom, zucchini & peperonata) for my family. They loved it. Grazie mille, Gina. Che Dio ti benedica My mother has an operation this month. Please pray for her. 'Mamma!' ❤️
I just found these videos of you, Gina, and I must tell you I have never smiled, laughed and enjoyed a video so much that I grabbed my husband and we both watched many of your videos and we just absolutely have to tell you how much we loved watching you!! We wish we could go into your kitchen and try everything you made!! You are amazing woman!! Thank you so much for making our day!!
You made me 😢, it’s so beautiful. You remind me of my beautiful mama who passed a little over three years ago. I miss her, and watching you reminisce over her beautiful memories tells me that I’m not going to get over her loss, just be thankful for her beautiful memories. May God grant you a long life, what a beautiful soul you are. Sending love 💕
This lady is the epitome of grace and kindness. Gina reminds me of my mother whom I miss terribly. Although she was Portuguese, there are a lot of similarities between the 2 cultures. May God continue to bless you!
i discovered Gina a month ago, love all your videos. Such a sweet person. I showed videos to my friend and it turns out she is married to your nephew. Small world.

Peppi is my nephew. His father Pietro (Peter) was my brother. I've been to Red Lake twice, hope to find my way there one more time. Say hi to Peppi and Vivian
This a beautiful dish. It is so wonderful that no matter how old you are to have the love she has for her MOTHER you can hear it in her voice when she say I miss my mother. Loving yet so sad. I never knew my mother she passed when I was 21/2yrs. old. I'm now 73 yrs. old. God bless her for the LOVE and compassion she still feels for her.😥😥😥
Another must-try recipe! I made your Eggplant Parmigiana recipe and it was absolutely delicious. Gina, you are so loved and now a big part of my kitchen. I think you must have a cooking angel by your side all the time, because so much goodness and deliciousness flows from you. Mama Gina is my go to person when making most of my Italian dishes. Her tomato canning is so simple. Thank you Gina & God bless you with many more years!
Nothing like a mother’s cooking. She remembers hers and makes us remember ours. God bless.

Gina you are so precious I really enjoy learning how to cook like you and your precious mother she is in your ❤ always.
OMG! I just found out that Nonna has a cookbook. Will be ordering soon!
Che Dio ti benedica
My mother has an operation this month. Please pray for her.
'Mamma!' ❤️
I will keep your mom in my prayers. May God watch over her and bless her with a quick recovery.

Thank you for watching. God Bless you both.
She reminds me of my own grandma who raised me and I think she is wonderful and they don't make them like her any more. God bless these great ladies.
Love when you sing.
Awe I got a little misty eyed when she said “I miss my momma” She’s so sweet ❤️
Womderful singing. Grandma, you touch my heart.
This may be the Citizen Kane of cooking videos. I can't wait to make this.
Just can’t get enough of the wonderful lady, she is amazing!
Gina love ur singing & family stories
i discovered Gina a month ago, love all your videos. Such a sweet person. I showed videos to my friend and it turns out she is married to your nephew. Small world.
Oh my..... it is a small world....
What's your friends name?
@@BuonAPetitti vivian spinelli married to peppi spinelli in red lake,Ontario. I think she said his father was Gina's brother... I forget now what she told me
Peppi is my nephew.
Thank you for sharing you recipes, and for sharing your songs - they are both beautiful . . . you make the world a better place!
You cook with your soul. I love watching you, such joy, happiness and love. Your song at the end was beautiful. Your mother is with you when you cook.

I love watching Grandma Gina cook, such a passion for cooking and always talks about her childhood and cooking with her mother and grandmother. And I especially love it when she sings and blesses the food before she starts making something. She's a gem.
