I love the camaraderie with the employees working at Georgia Pacific. There was a time when practically every one of my relatives worked at Marineland, Florida. As a kid I remember the summers visiting my Uncle Lloyd, Uncle Joe, Aunt Blanche, My Nana and my cousin, Dennis. They all worked at Marineland. That sense of family was present back then, just like with the Georgia Pacific folks. I can recall when I would go from Palatka to stay with my Nanà on the weekend.I had a Hobie surfboard I kept at Nana's house and I'd go surfing near Marineland. I live in Palatka, and it’s a really nice town with a good history, there are some bad people and communities, but I love this town, and I can tell you all those buildings in the thumbnail lol
I went to the college in 1971.I was considered a New Yorker then, though I was born in St Augustine, Florida. But , I had a lot of great times and have kept wonderful friends that I was fortunate to meet. I'm still friends with my college buddies. St John's River Jr College was a real cool place! I was wondering if Georgia-Pacific would support a "right to repair" in Fl. Georgia has one butt FL doesn't. And you have Wade Dallas there who love to thinker and I'm sure others also understand the value of fixing stuff one self.
