I picked one up for 2300. I love it.
What if I buy a standard Sig Cross and just buy a 24 inch Bartlein barrel? I actually have the 16 inch 308 and it shoots 168 gr. A-Max bullets less than 1 MOA. (2.86" OAL, 42 gr. AR comp, 2.00" case w/No Crimp @2700 fps). After the barrel breaking I can't pick up any copper fouling at all. I love the rifle and I paid about 1650 out the door so 2500 for this PRS is a stretch... I may have to see my chiropractor afterwards... Honestly this is the only hunting rifle you will ever need. Well this and a semi-auto in 7.62x51.
You wanna carry a 18lbs rifle hunting? Maybe if your truck hunting...

I bet you they checked the barrel was aligned properly on the rifle they sent you. The other production rifles... not so much...
great gun but at 2500....... yeah not a budget rifle at all....
Its wayyyy too expensive. Its such a niche that will go for this I doubt it will sell well. There's superior rifles for half the cost for "PRS" matches. They missed out on a lot of sales by restricting the barrel and caliber choices in the regular cross. In true Sig fashion they dont seem to care so I sent my money to someone who did.
