Dylan flashing Hullbreaker Horror in to a Mindbreak Trap that he knew had been drawn via thrasios was an interesting choice to say the least
Magic is hard, lololol I forget information and maker mistakes a decent amount, I'm sure he learned from it
@@dancer6452 Oh yeah no flame or anything, was just a bit confused if i was missing something myself lol
I think he INTENDED to force the Mindbreak Trap, but forgot that Mindbreak Trap said "any number" of spells instead of "all spells". He wanted the Mindbreak to exile the Ouphe. It was really smart of Nate to let the Ouphe resolve, even though he could have countered it as well as the Horror if he wanted to.
Tbh I just forgot that MBT said exile and not counter. I think we were on hour 3 of this game to be fair but I definitely know better now and have since also slotted in Tidespout in case it happens again.
@@Darchias I literally made that same play yesterday forgetting Mindbreak said "Any Target" and not all
I was going to comment something, but the universe cast Silence.
Shhhhh
So many Silences. Simon and Garfunkel would like their royalties.
One of the best EDH games I've seen in a while. Everyone had a chance to win and everyone had an answer to them. Great game
This is my favorite game on your channel so far mostly just for all the silence cast
Such a good game, glad to be apart of it!
All those Thrasios activations whiffing lands hurt my soul
Tameshi is such a cool card. Good to see a commander come from a standard set in the game, the commander precon legendaries are so ubiquitous these days.
For anyone looking for the most up to date list for my version of Tameshi, you can find it here:

This was such a fun experience and I'm so glad this game made it on air!
Man that had to be one of the best cedh games I've seen lately. Honestly I like how this showed that even cedh can be way past turn 4 or so. This went on for a while and that's awesome to see.
“Oops! It’s all Silence!” episode
Okay whoever edited this video with the 3 Spider-men standing off, props to you friend that had my dying of laughter
I cannot believe the complete lack of respect for Mystic Remora in the early turns.
That play for mindbreak trap was strange… he was able to target as many spells as he want but Nate didn’t target the ouphe
The ouphe didn't do much against his own plan, but it was shutting down a lot of his opponents' stuff
@@Halinn This. I initially thought the same thing that @kongooth did, then realized that Nate had hardly any great artifact effects, apart from rocks. It was the smart play to let Ouphe resolve.
Where is tameshi's list? Im builiding a deck with him,It Will help a lot see another list :(
Hey friend! Here's the most up-to-date version of my Tameshi list:
www.moxfield.com/decks/3P-kfe6nQ0aZH2UMxrcvhA
Side note: I hope Zack still managed to catch his flight after that 3 hour long game lol
Incredible game! Great patience by all the players to stick it out.
Sick! Been awhile since I've seen tameshi
I take a look of the blue farm list. Maybe I add too many creatures?I got facebreaker, grimhierling snd ledger shredder.
Absolutely crazy game!
I was surprised that thrasios/bruse walked into the onboard walking ballista to get his combo stuffed
I know it feels like Nate clutched defeat from the jaws of victory 😂
No matter how much I turned the volume up I only heard Silence
* today i learned * -- you can use derevi's ability at instant speed. I like to think I know alot of rules and usually have a good grasp on how the game works but for some reason that NEVER occurred to me. Nice game!
A real interesting and interactive game!
such a great game shame about all the missed Tameshi triggers though could of been a different game if Dlyan had drawn those cards.
One day I'll see that oona desklist
About 14:30
Why was Collector Ouphe not targeted as well by Mindbreak Trap? It says any number of target spells.
Because he wanted the Ouphe to resolve?
@@jinshootingstar
Hmm, I didn't think about that. Good point.
Interactive games like this must be so fun in person.
Any chance of finally seeing that Tameshi decklist?
do you run Mox Tantalite and Lotus Bloom in Tameshi?
great game fellas
The green sun was great
Nice video
The only question I'm left with is why did Nate not overload his cyclonic rift before his last turn rather than "just" use it to bounce back ouphe during his own turn.
can't wait to see if dominaria united will bring new commanders or good 99 cards into the format
I feel a weird urge to watch this game again, but on mute this time... :D
This episode shall now be known as "Everybody Shut Up"
How was Dylan able to bring back the lotus petal from the graveyard back onto the field with Grafdiggers Cage I thought spells couldn’t be cast from graveyards or am I missing something
Returning the lotus is an activated ability- not a spell.
And the cage only prevents creatures from entering the battlefield out of the graveyard.
I keep seeing the same derevi deck but it isnt clear to me how they combo off with their decklists. Is there something Im missing?
The combo is generally Emiel flicker Derevi to untap a mana source of 4 or more, cradle dreams druid etc. This gives you infinite blinks which includes Derevi for infinite taps and untaps, which at a minimum can mass tap down opponents permanents during their upkeep
They don't.
All jokes asides there combo is emiel the blessed flickering derevi and untapping a gaea's cradle for unfinite mana. And there's also some interesting birthing bod synergies with derevi being able to intap it. Honestly it's a cool deck but one if those decks that was popular 4 years ago but power creep has essentially killed the deck
@@MstrKipper oh interesting i run a derevi deck myself but i go for flickering creatures for value to draw my deck and winning through a lab man effect
Infinite mana with Derevi + Emiel + anything that taps for 4+ mana for infinite mana and blinking, then infinite Walking Ballista, seems to be the main plan. Heliod is also there for Ballista back-up, and there's also the lockdown created by blinking Derevi over and over during the opponents' upkeep steps to keep them tapped down.
Derevi's trigger on ETB enables a bunch of blink combos, and the fact he can be recast essentially infinite times with normal counter spells not working means he's tough to deal with. His combat damage trigger working on all your dorks also makes Stasis locks a real threat.
Was this shot in a library or something? lol everyone wanted SILENCE
Wouldn't Nate have to pay the 4 mana for the mind break trap ? It says an opponent, not if opponents combined have cast 3 or more spells. Wouldn't have changed anything other than one thrasios activation but just making sure the reason I cut that card is still valid lol
Great game. Though I would love too see some more legacy games
I love watching these CEDH videos where people don’t tap and use there urza to tap for a colorless before sacking it
Andrew didn’t lose 2 life after Breeding Pool entered untapped.
Good lord, what an arm wrestle this was.
thought thrasios win two straight game when no one is killing the muse
Can someone explain how andrew cast a silence during Zack's upkeep with nothing on the stack please ?
I thought if there was no upkeep triger nothing could be cast during an upkeep ?
There is a round of priority at the beginning of upkeep even if there are no triggers
@@tysonbrown109 Oh ok thx
Sick game
What happened to the stats at the end of the episodes?
We did away with them because our analytics showed no one watched them.
@@PlayingWithPowerMTG that is sad, much like the professor I enjoyed seeing the breakdown at the end. Seeing how many times something was activated, how much life was paid, and sometimes how many turn cycles were played.
With that being said I still love the content. Any more deck/ combo breakdowns coming in the future?
I feel like irrigated farmland is a weird land inclusion for cEDH
So I run a tameshi deck and any land that you can cycle is an auto include because you'll end up with alot of lands in hand. Being able to cycle them out for other more relevant cards is important.
@@brianbruneck721 Exactly this. I really only utilize 2-3 lands in a given game so having one that's both fetchable and cycleable is nice even if it enters tapped
Very grindy!!
I’m looking for a CEDH/high power playgroup on Spelltable. Anyone looking for another player? Or know what direction to point me in? Good game guys, thanks for the content.

Game of Throws
Standstill? In Edh? In a 4 man game?!
This game: (silence) ............
😂😂😂
*slams desk* WHERE'S THE TAMESHI LIST???
Tameshi decklist?
Here you go!
www.moxfield.com/decks/3P-kfe6nQ0aZH2UMxrcvhA
Thanks, Dylan!
Where the Tameshi list
I came here to see Blue Farm decimate
drawing card is good , keep u rebuilding from any situation
Um sorry but is that a proxy into a goose? How frightening
Nope that’s an altar that mike from the team did for me!
Why are Thoracle wins so boring?
oracle isn't really that good, casting any spell when consult resolve ,zack will die for drawing
tameshi lisssttttt
Dude Dylan could have drawn so many more cards…
Silence!
I feel like I have finally started seeing so much more boardwipe removal and I wonder if it's because your play group have realized how to play good creatures and tap them at a 90° degrees to the right.
What is a good creature?
Kraum?
Oh look
Another Thassa’s Oracle win
How predictable
All of that for a thassas Oracle consultation :(. Ban thassa please!
Nate needs to go back to playing casual
"Hey that Mindbreak Trap card looks like it's got some pretty awesome utilit-"
*Thirty american dollars*
I'm so tired of this it's not even funny anymore.
Proxy for life my friend. I'm very proud of my beautiful Magic collection: 12 decks, many overflowing with full art foils, and custom art commanders. Half were printed by someone other than Wizards, but I couldn't care less. Last order: $6,500 'value' for $100. Winning
running non sanctioned proxy friendly events is sending a really bad precedent
What???
How do you figure?
Why's that?
its also really shitty to constantly downplay stax pieces as if they're not a part of the game. Not everyone sighs when someone plays a stax piece. we dont need that level of negativity in the format.
Not the broke people in the comments being confused how people could have money
