Tip from me for begginers: with most of the modern gaming mouses you can set DPI sensitivity in the bundled software (and they most likely have dedicated button to switch these settings on the go), so take advantage of it - set your mouse to two DPI settings low and high. When you need an more precise aim then switch to lower setting and where you fighting in close quaters then switch it to higher setting to quickly turn around with little mouse moves. I personally use 800 DPI and 1600 DPI. Also try lower down mouse sensitivity in the game settings, it is often quite high on default and even accidental subtle mouse move can move your crosshair off the target
Frankly I am just happy someone else knew what I was talking about! Quality game, I played it not long ago and made a little video, its on the channel somewhere, its weird going back and seeing how advanced it was for its time with the AI team mate control etc.
Thanks for the compliment and the extra tip. I recall the general advice being aim for having an A4 piece of paper size space to move left to right for a full 360 spin. Though don't quote me on it.
took me honestly 60 hours to not be clueless anymore, catually know where im getting shot at, return fire well and know how i died then hunt imo becomes one of the best pvp games currently on the market, positioning and different guns etc all comes from experience which comes from playing more, its an endless grind
I was just starting to play when they introduced the new map. So I got to try trials and it helped a lot, but I need to run it more to get better. Please crytek bring back the trials!
@@Bandanner for Xbox they fixed the shooting range. You can pvp init now. First night my friends and I killed each other for hrs. It's really fun and we can get our practice in.
I would really appreciate it if you could tell me what weapon you're using at the start of the video, because i see a lot of content creators of hunt showdown use them and i see that it is generally a very good weapon. and i just want to know the name of the weapon so i can use it too. Thanks!
The tips are very helpful, especially the "use single shot weapons" and "remain calm". Just wanna say thanks for the tips because they helped me improve. (:
Firstly you are welcome glad it was helpful! The very first weapon you see is the Marathon which is a pump action rifle. I seemed to get quite lucky with it. The weapon after that was the officer precision I think (long barrel pistol). It fires very fast, quite a nice weapon.
more or less 2k hours and u start to not givafck about kd anymore, this game was not designed to be a stats shit bro, i know a lot of players that play along 6 yers that have a shitty kd and can whipe a whole trio or even the server alone
I am afraid I can't help at all with the console side of things, other than playing a little CoD at a friend's I have never used a controller for FPS games. Some of the broader tips still apply I guess.
Great content mate, thanks for sharing!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it :)

@@Bandanner IMO this will distract your muscle memory for aiming
@@marwan4620 I consider it a personal thing, I know other people who use it in FPS games, I do not myself though as it would just muddle me up!
I loved Raven Shield so much, i built my first PC for that game lol

Watching with 1,175 hours.
Haha just a few then! it may not be a massive help to you :)
2500+. Same😂
Same here... over 1000 hours and still need improvement 😊
great tips for everyone really, not just new players
one I'd add: lower your sensitivity and invest in a larger mouse pad if you've got the space
Thanks for the compliment and the extra tip.

I just started this game and it’s so hard to get into it i’m getting crushed at every turn
Yeah it is pretty brutal when you first start as you need to learn the maps, weapons, tools etc too.
It will get easier.

I hope they put something back for training...
