@gazmo6070 oh! Your DLC weapons are just effectively skins for those weapons so you need to change the skin. I need to make a short on how to do that in the new UI It's so silly now. Not at my PC currently to remind myself of the exact steps but if you are equipping a hunter, you might be able to right click on a weapon to change stuff on it, or there is a button at the bottom left of the screen with it selected, which takes you to a place to change it my mind has just gone blank on which button it is lol

That depends on the game mode. If you are playing soul survivor then they appear randomly on boxes. If you are in a bounty hunt game you need to buy them before you go in...

Hmm, I did an overview video and played a campaign in it a little while back when I got early access. I would not generally do a new full review for a DLC as these types of videos take far to long to produce compared to the views they would get, so its generally for initial releases. :)

Glad it was helpful! Regarding characters, they are all the same just different skins basically. No other difference, you could argue some hide better in dark corners etc. Weapon preference just comes with experience of playing the game. Everyone has a preference :)

@@Bandanner I uninstalled and installed everything again and it works! Rise of the reds mod tho doesn't work well, but that's fine.

Oof yeah, it can be a bit rough doing solo especially as a new player going up against duos or potentially trios. Though if you can stomach it, it can be rewarding killing a duo or trio yourself!

Because you are new to the game and you're under bloodline rank 10 (if not then I am confused :P). To make things more gentle on new players you get a free pass till you level up a bit basically.

@ yeahhh that makes more sense now. Probably should’ve used those levels to get a head start on my rookie character yknow?

@Shovelfish nah don't stress, all your characters are going to die sooner or later. It's an important thing to get used to :)

It can be a brutal game, I mean I guess that's one of the main concepts, the bounty does not belong to anyone until they leave the map with it.

Haha it's harder in 1896 since the UI changed, you aren't alone. If you are on PC you can right click on the equipped weapon and select charms. If you are on console... I have no idea!

Hmm I just launch it from steam as normal and it works, I didn't think it needed to be in the video I guess. If its not working for you, either you installed it wrong/put of order or there is some other issue? Its been many months since I played but I booted it up and it still runs on startup so not sure there's been an update on the steam side. I'm afraid I don't have anything to do with the mod so I can't really offer technical support.

@@Bandanner Thanks for the answer! I installed the mod and in the folder appeared additional files GenLauncher. Then I went back to Steam and hit play. And the usual version of generals.exe started, not the Gen launcher. That is, the problem is that I do not have the opportunity to run the game bypassing steam, because of using Porting Kit, and I cannot change the executable file (renaming didnt help) ( I tried adding these launchers to steam as Non-Steam games, but it didn't help too. They are added, start to run, but immediately stop without any reaction

@Bandanner I'm thinking of getting rid of either Conduit or my stam shot for either a grenade or fire beetle to capitalize on dark sight traits or even just a 3rd hellfire bomb. What would make most sense in my case

@@calint123 Honestly you play in quite a specific way from your loadout and I wouldn't ever like to tell anyone else how to play! But if it was me I feel a beetle might be good for utility when you play team games but if you find you aren't getting much use out of it an explosive is always a good option. I tend to forget to use beetles when I have them!

@@Bandanner I did more testing got a few hunters fully traited out and Witness is very strong for locating where an enemy team is approaching from. I dropped conduit and it's insane how many stam buffs are thrown at us throughout a match. I'm keeping my stam shot because now I run no stamina traits. Pitcher is a mid priority trait I typically take it after a run & lobbing 2 hellfire bombs seems to work well I love that I can tag people with it and instantly tell if they were in a room whilst dealing damage I find myself running Lightfoot nearly last because all other stealth traits serve a better purpose I don't even take kiteskin until nearly fully traited out as both synergize

Yeah, there are quite a lot of variations on old units which Eugen tends to consider new, due to new models/skins etc. But obviously we tend not to consider them "new".

more or less 2k hours and u start to not givafck about kd anymore, this game was not designed to be a stats shit bro, i know a lot of players that play along 6 yers that have a shitty kd and can whipe a whole trio or even the server alone

As a new player you get to keep your hunter till level 10 even if you die in game. After that if the hunter dies it's gone along with the weapons HOWEVER you can just buy a new one for 100 hunt dollars ( the in game currency). You never lose access to the skin, you can always buy more of that hunter.

I don't think their marketing has ever been that good for the game sadly, not many people know what it is or what its about. I expect it will get a flood now its been shown at the game awards too. Hope you are enjoying it if you have decided to give it a go :)

It's certainly overall one of the best sets they have had for a battlepass.

The fastest way is by doing the weekly missions, as they give a lot. You will earn some by just playing the game too. Depends how much time you have to play honestly and obviously how good you are. You can buy the battle pass at any time, I suggest playing a few days and seeing how you go getting points.

@@Bandanner thanks, I just won in my first game of sole survivor and feeling good. 82 progress out of a 1000 in my battlepass hurts tho 😂

@griff2181 firstly congrats! yeah you won't get a LOT per individual game sadly, compared to the missions. You might earn more overall in Bounty hunt mode but you will spend longer on the map... So there is a trade off.

@@Bandanner I'm thinking I just wanna get two tiers per day so if I play trios with randoms I can get more done in terms of kills and weekly. Tbh I'm happy to buy it just for post Malone but I will try and make progress on it

Haha, well spotted! I honestly had no idea where it was specifically. Other than that, I knew it was Japan. Congrats on being the first person to ever even mention it ;) I was looking for an image I could convert into an 80s sci-fi/cyberpunk style. And it fit nicely and was free to use/edit without copyright worries. I have never been to Japan but would like to visit some day.

I'm afraid I have never played on console, people do seem to enjoy it, though there is no cross platform play so you should get it on the same platform as any friends who play.

Plague would probably fit within stalker somewhere! I did notice the arrows I just couldn't quite decide how accurate they were, more than I gave them credit for I think. There is nothing else for the lighting, a lot of people are getting mods for it now from nexus. Which is what I might do. No idea why they scrapped doing night vision etc. And you might be on to something, fights don't seem worth it a lot of the time at all, and I have found waves of enemies just keep coming sometimes.

Yeah, apparently hes doing something with fortnite too, I never played that I don't think.

As I note in the video, if you play standard bounty hunt, they will be around your MMR (with adjustment for solo playing against, duo/trio or solo and duo against trio). However some people drop their rating by dying lots so they get easier games so you may encounter people who just smash you. Furthermore if you team with friends of a higher level OR you auto match there is a chance you will be placed in a higher bracket. That said regarding bounty hunt, I am fairly sure as a solo I have been placed against weird groupings recently which I would not expect to be. Oh and if you play soul survivor however you get matched with any level (Which I also note in the video). Bounty clash is based on MMR but does not affect it.

If there is no other threat they will sometimes do it automatically as long as you don't give another command. From a manual point of view you either reverse away from it with G, or give a move command towards it. Either way you hope it turns in time. The only other way to force a direction is to click and drag on a move order but I find it faffy.
