Thanks Pop Pop! The weather was very interesting on this one because it was nice and warm for February, but then of course there was the rain to deal with. All in all not too bad overall
Awesome video. Was lucky to not see any bears when I visited, didn't see much wildlife now that I think about it. Camped near School House Falls and put our food in the bear box near the sandbar. Was a fun hike every morning and night getting our food. This place is special.
I had forgotten about my beaver impression. Nom nom nom!! Steve and I enjoyed 2 more rain free days after your last day. It was fun as always catching you out there buddy. Good stuff!
I reckon that must be a matter of opinion. Some say that history is written by the victors, and no one is calling it Beartown - but where are the panthers today?
The panthers may have an an ace up their sleeve yet - there has been talk recently of removing the bear sanctuary status from Panthertown and opening bear hunting in the area
I get by with a little help from my friends!
Great job improvising for the weather! Another great trip and report!

Great video, as always!
Thanks Michael, glad to have you along!

Yeah that's a pretty sizeable hike back and forth for your food! Better than getting ate by a bear. Can't beat Panthertown
Cool video Layne
I appreciate it Roy!

People would’ve thought that was real beaver audio had you not owned up to it!
Also great opening quote man
I remember a time when Joey would refuse to even take his phone on a trip - that (and the falls of course) were the inspiration
Lets go soon.
Do it to it!
So I take it the bears won the great Panther-Bear War of 1967?

@@LayneComfort it was the final insult you see. That they kept the name.
