Derek, I don’t know what they were teaching you at this 2 month DVC salesman class, but you made an A+!!! You could literally sell me anything! I’ve never been to either resort but been to Hilton Head many times. It’s literally the halfway point for us between our home and WDW! Great show!

I have not visited either but I booked a Vero Beach stay last summer for my son and they fell in love with the resort. They are going again in June. I cannot wait to visit!
So, my family became DVC Members at the end of 2021. Our Welcome Home stay was Aulani, which was 🔥👍🏽🙌🏻.
Earlier this year, we were blessed to be able to experience Hilton Head (Jan) and Vero Beach (May)! They were BOTH awesome for all the reasons that everyone shared! SO HARD to choose!

We went to Vero for the first time this summer and are headed to Hilton Head next week for the first time so I can’t say which we prefer, but we did find the same things with Vero that you all mentioned. It’s great for a chill trip, particularly if you are in a villa and plan to cook or if you have a car and don’t mind driving to dinner. We do wish there were a few more food options closer but as long as you are going there knowing those things aren’t close, it’s a relaxing trip. Hopefully we find HH to be just as great but in a different way!
For vero you drive 20 minutes north and you’re in Melbourne beach. You don’t have to drive an hour

For me, we have severe dietary needs, so exploring little shops and restaurants is really not an option for us, because there is no guarantee that my daughter can eat safely. We specifically choose Disney because of their allergy accommodations. We can't wait to visit Vero Beach and put my phone down!
Great fun conversation. 24 year member but have never been to either resort. I have always considered them to be that fallback location if WDW ever becomes “done.” However, I am not sure that will happen before 2042!😉
Haven’t been to Vero but been to HH 5 times. We are not ‘sit on the beach for hours’ people so HH offers so much more to do.
