I loved this shirt pattern except for the gusset. I also had problems getting it to lay flat, frustrated the heck out of me as I am an advanced sewist. I ended up leaving it off and attached a ribbon to cover the raw edges. I too will do this differently for my next shirt as I really liked this feature and this pattern. Thanks for the review!
