I’m a recovering addict who did the Florida shuffle and let me tell you there are so many recruiters looking for addicts with money and or good health insurance not because they care but because it’s easy money.
There is this guy from the Chicago area who sends people to FL for rehab and tries to make it sound all good. They say they cover the flight and all that and give you a scholarship. I forget the guy's name, but he is a hustler piece of sht. Lots of people dying when they get out. I think pompano beach or some where near there. Heard after you finish the program, they put you out on the street. A rehab treatment place. Also the insurance is out of state coverage. Fck Florida treatment.
This chick rocks man, gives you the real story about people who the media trys there best to make people look crazy..
YUP.. to put you away... and siphon his money from pills to pillow cases to food and therapy sessions while inpatient 😮wow

You know she's steaming rn. It's true, if he's only just found out about BJ you know that he's been sheltered from Limas full true story too. If her own sisters can't be accounted for, and everything that happened with Amanda Rabb, how can you trust her with your own well being, or your loved ones.

This is straight up body brokering what they are doing to him. Happens a lot in the recovery community, happens to blue collar workers with shitty insurance I can’t even imagine how bad someone with actual wealth would get taken advantage of. This was so eye opening. THANK YOU for giving him a safe place to land to tell his story ❤

I understand why he's losing his mind. I'm a mother of two children and if I wasn't able to see them, I literally don't think I could find the will to live. He's the most sane one in a family of toxic people. I see this cuz I've watched all the jackasses and all the spinoff shows. Bams family is controlling and codependent. They're also addicts in their own right. They're addicted to food, they're addicted to fame, they're addicted to being victims, they're addicted to controlling bam.

I understand addiction myself, and this interview has helped me, I really feel for Bam, I grew up inspired by Bam, he might not be in his right mind in this interview, but he is very on point and very clear, the research makes sense, great interview and wish you healing Bam, we got this recovery, keep up incredible work BJ🙏
I love how she’s trying to get the ground rules down and Bam keeps interrupting her. Both these people have a tremendous amount of potential. Unfortunately one of them is struggling from a disease and their in my thoughts and prayers.
Bam should get a restraining order against Lima. She is obsessed with him & is not a mental health professional nor is she a doctor. Lima is a proven liar & needs to stop forcing her way into people’s lives & making them do things against their will. Silencing people is not acceptable. My prayer’s for Bam♥️

You can’t force it on anyone and I hope and pray for Bam’s sake and his son, HE CHOOSES to stay sober…but his family, Lima, fake friends, etc are doing nothing to help and are honestly, only pushing him further into addiction imo bc they are lying and manipulating him and he feels so alone and trusts no one!!
She drives everyone away. I swear she increases suicide rates just by her presence.

Been watching this unfold with ny boyfriend who has been sober off heroin, fentanyl, and alcohol for three years. We feel so deeply for Bam. He and I know firsthand how people will profit off of our suffering. Rooting for you Bam.
Congrats to your bf on 3 years!! I love, love, love seeing people beat the statistics! I'm 8 years clean this month. Best decision I ever made! Its so sad watching someone struggling with addiction.

Omg same here I myself am a recovering addict from heroin fentanyl any opiates basically since 2016 I got on methadone and I haven’t wanted it touched it or anything and I think I’m getting to the point where I’m ready to get off the methadone as well I think methadone can be a savior for many just like Suboxone but for the ones that aren’t ready to stay clean and do the work it’s just another drug to those people who hopefully someday will be ready to be clean before they end up passing away from the disease of addiction 🥺🙏🏼❤️

What we’re seeing with Bam and his family is a family system. Bam’s role in the family shifted from being the Golden Child, for providing the funding to bring up the life style that April and Phil could afford Bam on a grocery store baker and hairdresser’s salaries, to the Identified Patient or Scapegoat. That happens to Golden Children once they burn themselves and their talent out to enrich their families. The family, no longer benefitting from supporting the Golden Child, does a 180 and blames the way the Family Scapegoat communicated, copes (in Bam’s and most cases of high functioning high pressure talent, addiction), or lives in order to inspire conformity to the unwritten family rules and arrangements. We saw with Brittney and Bam that their brand and their brand reputation was more important than the individual and both families have used Brittney and Bam’s children as ransom and bait to control their family member. It is dysfunctional, it is sick, it is family trauma, ancestral trauma, and absolutely the most inhumane and cruel treatment to a person who worked their entire childhood and adulthood to enrich their family. Bam may be the one that shows the most symptoms, but he is by far the least sick person in this family.

Because I have been taking bible college classes.
I learned about generational repetition... So Isaac had two sons and he favored Esau. So Esau was left with nothing because his mother and brother Jacob tricked Isaac. Years later, Jacob has many sons but favors Joseph. After Jacob took his brothers inheritance, years later, he tracked his brother down to ask for forgiveness. Not only did he forgive Jacob, but he made his own way. They depart, and Daniels brothers were so jealous of him. Tried to kill him many times. Threw him into a pit so that he would starve to death. One brother got him out and sold him as a slave. So Joseph becomes a big time dude... And the father Jacob has another new favorite. So it continues down the line until Joseph treated them as royalty and they finally seen how their own father had treated them. He ended the generational favoritism.... Anyway.... It is crazy to think this stuff still goes on to this day. Most golden children go on to be narcissistic pieces of 💩.....bam seems to genuinely want to be a better person and just live his own life without the constant bs. I promise that either April or his dad's parents did the same thing to them.

Well done for treating Bam as human (its very clearly hard based on his alcohol consumption) then the name dropping about his rich lifestyle without even realising he’s doing it. He is so privalidged but like a caged bird at the same time. He’s too damaged to even stay sober to save himself, even with your help.

It's amazing how Bam responds when treated with kindness and respect.
Imagine that, right? It reminds me of homeless people... If you just sit and talk/listen to them they get so happy and will totally open up to you! That's why the offer of support is often taken. Why would someone want to open up to a cop or someone who looks at them with prejudice and disgust?

@Wil C not all the time, I'm five years sober from alcohol. I work at a bar so I see drunks all the time. .BUT I can spot out the behaviors of an addict so I do have more compassion. One guy that was at the bar all the time getting sloshed and fired from all jobs. I would talk more to him and even went out to do "sober things" instead of just going to the bar.
I get irritated by drunks, I'm compassionate towards addicts because I was them for most of my life!

If there is one thing in this life I have learned it is that family does you the dirtiest. Not always. But often, and I have had complete strangers show me more compassion and help me on a REAL level than my own blood relatives. Thank you BJ for what you are doing for Bam and for others. You are selfless in your quest for justice, and even though it seems like the odds are against you (and for all of us who love truth) in the end the LIARS, MANIPULATORS, and the EVIL people trying to control everything are crumbling and will ultimately FAIL. Just take a look at the history of humanity, it's cyclical and tyranny will be crushed. *The truth .. shall... PREVAIL*

Yep. He has been used for money since his youth. No wonder he’s been chasing chemicals to make him feel safe and secure for years!
Y’all miss the point. You’re so focused on the alcohol. Do you have any idea what any of the shit he’s been through is like? Or even does to a person? As a former addict, the people trying to “help” him aren’t actually looking to help. They are getting PAID. There’s a difference. Of course he isn’t sober. He wasn’t ever properly helped. And only made worse. Also, why would he want to go get help after he’s seen what “help” looks like? He doesn’t realize that there are good people and places out there that will actually help. Shit, I’d never step foot in another rehab if I was him. Ever.

@@iprint3d710 im almost positive he has add or adhd ( i could be wrong but i believe ive heard him say that before) with that being said, people with add and adhd ramble like this daily (even worse if untreated), they repeat themselves MULTIPLE times, they get lost while telling a story and end up telling 10 stories within 1 story and then circling back to the original story topic! It is SUPER hard to stay concentrated on what ur trying to say when u have so much u wanna say to tell ur story! Also when they get overstimulated and worked up they get whats called "diarrhea of the mouth"! Where they can talk for HOURS upon HOURS NONSTOP!
This is NORMAL BEHAVIOR for someone who has a.d.d. or a.d.h.d. (and is untreated or not on proper dosage)!!!!
Believe me... i have adhd and have dealt with it my ENTIRE life!!!!
And yes i know he had taken a drink or 2..... which makes untreated add adhd worse! Heck it even makes treated add adhd worse also!!!

Bam has a giving heart- sadly people will take advantage and you can hear the pain in his voice and his words. He seems defeated. A lot of people process hurt with anger.

Yep! ASD and ADHD are closely linked and oftentimes overlapping. I think we're seeing a forever friendship forming here and it makes my heart happy.
This comment had me thinking. Watching this interview and having gone thru a lot of what Bam has with family. Being put thru a smear campaign and being overly trusting and taken advantage of... I found out recently I'm autistic and ADHD and had been unmedicated my whole life. I'm about to get my first college degree now. I know Adderall didn't work for Bam but maybe it's because he's slightly autistic and that causes emotional imbalance. Anxiety related to sensory overload can be related to chemical dependence. Could explain the sunglasses and code. But it irritates me enough seeing peoples comments calling him a "spoiled ADHD kid" or whatever. Thanks for your comment, it was very thoughtful

I have unmedicated adhd (because all drs these days automatically think someone is "faking just to get adderall"...ps i was given adderall my whole life until i aged out of fostercare and they dropped me cold turkey... which COULD have killed me because i had be on it for at least 14 years) but i digress...throughout this whole interview i kept thinking to myself ...wow is THIS what i sound like when i get over stimulated and worked up while telling a story... i know i have a bad habit of telling stories within stories and then circling back to the original story.. sometimes MULTIPLE times in a conversation...
I know i read somewhere that he has add or adhd, but it really erks me when people say "listen to him tell stories... he cant even stay on topic... hes rambling.... hr cant even talk "normal".... im like duhhhh no sht sherlock.. thats NORMAL for people with add adhd mainly! It seems like Bam really just needed someone to vent to. Which isn't her fault or his fault it's just how the interview kind of went. @@rachelosiria7865 I do agree but I can see that Bam just wants to say everything he hasn't been able to say on any other platform, inc his great friend, the failed clowns podcast. Bam may come across jumbled and somewhat excitable at times but from what I've seen in these interviews he still makes a lot of sense. Bam has a way of telling his experiences like a novel, he won't give a direct answer, he likes to give the whole background and run up to the point. Also he more than likely feels he may not get another opportunity to share his side, which I completely understand.
Bam is coherent and you can understand what he is saying. He may ramble but this dude been shuffled from all these facilities, found a Shamin that encouraged him but they came to grab him from there, he clearly has issues with his bm, mother and a few others so it's just spewing out bc he has an opportunity to talk and not be told what to say! He deserves this and people need to back up and let him speak or his pain will eat him up. Like he said he can't feel physical pain but he feels emotional pain and no one around him is listening to him.

Right! Breaks mine too and aggravates me bc it's like no one in his life is stepping up saying no, this needs to stop. Instead they just are going to bully him and make it seem like he is the problem so he spins out of control so they can reap the benefits. Anyone that feels like they are backed into a corner isn't going to do "normal " things. And that's all BJ is trying to say too
@@indiefairy09 Bingo! It broke my heart that all he is surrounded by is liars and manipulators. His demeanor is definitely different with BJ because she doesn't want anything from him but his friendship and his happiness. People who aren't used to that don't know how to take being around people who like the person and not the money. When Bam offered to pay for his own food, I think Prim said, no don't worry about it. I think Bam was kind of taken aback by that. I would imagine, that Bam is used to footing the bill for alot of people. I wish that Bam can see the light and cut all of these people out of his life.

IMHO Lima bean is so invested in Bam because he is a well-known star, which in turn (if it had been successful) would have helped/jump started her new high tech virtual reality rehab idea. Therefore pioneering and funding her ventures.. 🤷♀️

As hard as this is to watch, this is so essential for people to understand Bam’s situation and how no one but BJ has listened to him thus far. BJ, you should be really proud of your efforts, this extends to all your team behind the scenes. Feeling lesser than, being ostracised and the forced recollection of all the embarrassing things I did saved me.
Clearly, it's not going to work for everyone, and personally, there was a lonnnng period of addiction before I felt cornered. Sadly, there's no one size fits all treatment plan.

He stated that Jess has lied and is now suing for defamation and also starting the eviction process to get Jess out of his house. Also, he got drug tested to prove he wasn’t using and has declared that he is going to be sober starting yesterday. Because of BJ and all the information he has received, he now feels unpowered to get control of his life.
Hearing him talk makes me so sad and the fact that no one listens to him. Everyone just wants to keep him in facilities and take advantage of him but no one cares that he’s speaking up for himself

He looks at her in a completely different way than the first time. He trusts her _and_ sees her as an ally which is huge, because I don't think he has ANY! Whatever happens, she gave him a voice when noone else would.

@painalpeggy He HAD a non-toxic support system. He had a beautiful wife and child, friends who loved him and career opportunities that anyone would be more than happy with, and he thew it all away for drugs and alcohol.

Did anyone else watch the video where he talks about all his head injuries and the times he had literally head trauma from filming Jackass. So any out of normal behavior he’s immediately accused of being on drugs. Not like the multiple times he had head trauma. 🤔but I don’t know! I’m a silly little maniac too!
Bam is such a sad story about how talent and money and hangers on can become very very dark. Bam should have to face his consequences WITHOUT someone with a financial conflict being involved.
"It's a fing mystery, and it's my gd life, and I can't take it anymore!" This is such a heart wrenching statement to hear from Bam. You can see the pain in his eyes. I'll never understand how they can do this to him. At this point, how can they not realize they are indeed killing him with all that they've done and continue to do?! Or is this the point, because in fact they don't want bam the person living happily, but the brand he has created or his other possessions? This is what goes through my mind when it comes to his family/friends. I hope I am mistaken, but this is what all of this looks like to me. A nefarious plot, and it isn't for the goal of getting him sober 😔

What is so sad about this interview is that the people who are his friends are feeding him the alcohol knowing it’s the very reason why he gets arrested etc. and as I watch him speak my heart sinks. It’s not a disease. It’s simply something that will always be desired, because the drugs felt great. For example, I smoked cigs for 25 years. I quit, but I always think about it and miss it terribly, particularly when I fell anxious or stressed. It’s not because it was a disease, it’s just because my memory of how great the habit felt for me will always be there, unless I get dementia.
