Bam represents my youth. Every time I see him, it reminds me how old i'm getting....fuck.
YurMom right
Yup
Damn for real lmao
Same here
Yup. Depression setting in
Netflix needs to broadcast all of the Viva La Bam episodes
BB6WhiteDiamond Word to the wise. Don’t make the same mistake I did and buy the seasons digitally (iTunes, specifically). A lot of the original music wasn’t licensed and really hurts the viewing experience when you hear a classic scene with a specific song you remember it by, being accompanied by a generic instrumental. Buy the DVD’s. They also come with features that aren’t included in the digital download.
Get kodi and find a good addon. Theyre all streamable. I'm on paint Phil blue and other stories EP but haven't watched em in a while
Or just buy the dvds >.>
@@lethalbox909 Thanks for the heads up dude!
Piratebay 😎
Damn. Chris really is a great interviewer. Flexible enough to let the conversation go wherever it will, but still remembering important points and questions and going back to them. Funny, interesting, never losing the thread. Good shit.
😎
He kinda pissed me off
Seriously. This is the first video of theirs I've seen but I was so impressed by his ability to let a convo go, then fluently transition into a new question or topic. I'm about to watch the Tony Hawk one now!
@@dongambino5308 how so?
HaZeMode in all honesty I’m used to seeing joe Rogan interview people. He just seemed so pg and idk he just seemed very nice. And I hate to be a dick but it’s bam margera you know, I wanna see pot being smoked and talk about weird shit like whatever the fuck pithicus that Rogan loves and I wanna hear coke stories etc. maybe I’m just rated R
Bam is so much more coherent here than current day. Hope he gets better. This dude is a staple of my childhood.
When everything changes..everything changes
Same with NOTHING
You can tell he was completely sober here. He was actually talking about being messed up on booze and adderall.
How can you say Bam looks coherent here? He's literally slurring all his speech. He's clearly messed up here.
10 month later and NOTHING has changed still an addict ..still in an out of rehab
itt: no one who understand addictions at all. Agreed with OP. For an alcoholic, he's coherent as fuck.
I was in Middle School when Bam was on the rise. What an era for Skateboarding
Relish Institute same here
Same.
Relish Institute how old were you?
diego h I wanna say 13-14
Relish Institute you definitely were older than me
Bam Margera is so nostalgic to me. From the classic mtv shows, viva la bam, jack ass, ah man. He made tv awesome. Kinda like the unhinged rob dyrdek, lol.
I like bam way more then rob
Urban Deployment same. Rob made the smarter investments tho
Rob is almost a legend in terms of skateboarding..he's one of the main guys that helped start DC shoes...
Same.
Seeing Bam now makes me realize how sharp he was here...merely 2 years ago.
Now 3, and it’s worse.
Lol
Blowing all His loot. Sucks. Hopefully He gets it together.
Nothing wrong with getting faded
But not all the time and not if you’re spending all your $.
5 years now and disastrous. Hope someone or some thing can get through to him.
Love this podcast. Breaks my heart to hear bam doesn't talk to anyone from the old crew. You can tell he misses the old days.
We all miss the old days
Bam: "You can't skate drunk..."
Dustin Dollin: "Hold my beer."
Playing Guitar drunk usually ends pretty badly !
Dimebag: Hold my shot
Best comment
Lol true but he's burning out. Have hardly seen him in a board this past year. He did function really well for a while though
That's what i thought when Bam said that you can't skate drunk.
I wish life was as simple as it was when I was watching CKY as a teenager. Miss Jackass and CKY.
when I first found CKY omg that was such a fun time in my life and the whole skating scene around the time was awesome
Those were the days my friend...
Raab himself has been podcasting, hes got Bam, Rake, and some of the old crew on it! ... Made me happy for a day or two! My Gift to tha boys! .. 👊👑!!
Kal Morgan I agree! Saw them live at some shitty little bar/club. Where can I check out some skate shit for someone that's my age. I miss it so much. Had a kid, got a wife & a suit & tie. All that shits gone & I'm dreaming of skating again. I'd make a fool of myself but, I don't give a fu*k! Someone put me down on what's up with decks for old people. 🐙📡🗿🛒🦉🦉
@@adamturner1563 your gift?
I miss the early 2000s. Cky, Him, Bam, and skateboarding was everything. I can't even imagine how much he must miss those days. Dunn was still around, he was still young and in shape living it up. Time
Met him years ago in the philly airport bar, he even talked to my sister on the phone for a few minutes. I've always been a big fan, and this was a great interview, I hope he is well today.
Easy to believe.
Besides all the crap with filming the show stuff, he's always seemed to be a great/OK guy.
hes not
Man…. 🙏
This is a gem. Thank you, Nine Club.
I've watched it start to finish twice now.
who else wants a part 2 now that bam is out of rehab, healthy and had a baby ? shit i know i do.
I agree.. just dont use that word.."Gem" ew
Well said. This is incredible!
Bam is such a good story teller and he's got such a good story to tell.
I'm the King of Rock n Roll.
good
He already told all the storys he could n some he couldnt on radiobam
This didn’t age well...
@@yankees29 Still a good story teller.
in 2017 Bam was almost recovered from all the shit that happened for so many years, he looked so good and had even returned to skating, but he relapsed so much that it's sad to see this interview and see the bam that I knew as a child is gone. It's so sad. I wonder what happened in his life to relapse that bad.
"they had a house warming party for me with cake, i never showed up. I had slayer play at my house instead". LOL
That was a great episode lol
SHE SAID SHE LOVES SLAYER!!
This is gold for a Bam fan. Thank you guys. ✌
EazyE187um 😂😂😂😭
eazyE that name and you comment that ? you must be a rejected troll mate.
EazyE187um the only time i ever seen him lay a hand on his dad he was doing fairy slaps to him. Phil wouldn't even feel that shit. Sure he's embarrassed the shit out of him 100s of times but I'm sure the millions ease the pain.
i feel like i hit the jackpot got to see a bam epicly latered and a 9 club podcast than i found a original like 2003 autographed bam element deck from the thrift store for 99 cents
EazyE187um 🙄
Bam looks so much better than he even did months ago during the filming of his Epicly Laterd!! Happy to see that he's gotten his shit together and is doing well, definitely rooting for him. Thanks for another great interview Nine Club!!!
He looks worse than ever now. It’s so easy to see when he isn’t sober.
I wonder if Bam realizes just how big a part of many people's childhood he was. Any time I see him, I think Tony Hawk games, Jackass, and Viva La Bam. Now I'm in my 20's. Wild
Im 33 and i remember when jackass was on tv and mtv still showed music videos gawd im feelin old
Lol u a kid still
I feel this
same I’m 23 and I remember it all
Same yo!
I still don’t think the CKY, Big Brother, Jackass Crews contemplate how big and influential they were. They were a cultural phenomenon, like the “Swinging 60’s” with The Beetles, Rolling Stones etc. They were everywhere, kids wanted to be Jackasses, wanted to skateboard, make music etc. It was an amazing time, I miss it terribly.
R i p don vito! Rip ryan dunn! Much love boys
Donovan Lopez I wonder if the passing of his Uncle was his biggest motivation to cut down on the binge drinking he was doing...after all Don Vito did die from both liver and kidney failure from alcoholism.
Donovan Lopez sad how Vito got so skinny during his last weeks ...
RIP Fast Eddies Treetop Casino 😭😭😭
Shout out to the Florida Stalker
LMAO
Holy shit thats what she was living in??? LMFAO.
Didnt fast eddies get fucked by a cannonball in the civil war...
Seeing this interview makes me realize how fast time flies for me. Still feels like barely a year ago the buds and I were just a group of skate rats, spending every second living and breathing skating, watching Zero's Dying to live or baker 3 for the first time with all the free time in the world.
It kind of gets me emotional to think just how long ago that actually was, and how I'll never have those experiences again. All of us with families/jobs/responsibilities, all that shit you use to love so passionately kind of falls to the waist side for the sake of stability and becoming a functioning adult. What I wouldn't give to have the whole crew back together shooting the shit and spending our days skating and purely just having fun.
To all the young bucks out there I urge you to really recognize that the fun doesn't last forever so please just live it up because one day sooner than you realize that shit all goes away.
Xilas Jenkins shit man what you wrote is spot on it kinda hurts that it all comes to an end real life sucks balls man😂
True bro... I’m living the adult life. But man what a buzz kill. After your 20s you spend the next part trying to fix things... fix yourself... fight time... question existence.
I know...it's kind of sad looking back on how awesome things used to be, and how we failed to realize that at the time. But hey, at least we got to experience it.
You cant do much about the old homies moving on, but most people can make time to skate if they want it enough. I see plenty of older skaters who are still shredding , even with their own kids .
Xilas Jenkins 🤘
I hope Bam pulls his life together....
You can tell a big difference even from this episode to now, he at least sounds half way normal here, doesn't sound in his right mind in recent videos . Hope he will commit to getting help and staying with it before it's too late
@@letsplayclassicgames5024 I think that sadly it just is too late. I assume you have seen the any roy one. He's a great guy, but something got to him at some point. He isnt in the "snap out of it" category, I think on paper he could be considered mentally disabled at this point.
Hes in recovery with novak.
His brain is already mush it's too late
Not me I love watching trains wreck
That Novak voice is golden
chris Its weird to think Novak was actually one of the best skaters in the world at one point lol
AlexCoronaPhoto novak is very talented on a board sad most people only know him as a fuckup. cool he got his shit together now adays though
Chris L Novak is king !
Gets me every time.
rajivaksha dasa NA and AA doesn't send him everywhere to tell his story though... I'm sure there's different programs and individuals that ask him to speak to kids at schools and rehabs to tell his crazy, fucked up story to try to help further prevent kids/people from fucking their lives up because of addiction. we need more people to do that actually
Glad to see him back on a board & not pissing in his own mouth.
I used to have the biggest crush on this man back in the day lol
I work at the childrens hospital in Philadelphia. I remember seeing the smoke from Bams Fire HAHAHA
He seems so well here, really smart, clear headed, in the moment. You're awesome sober Bam. Hope rehab goes well.
He could very well be on some shit here. Addiction is a hell of a thing and people that are deep can hide it extremely well.
Dico has kids!? They're prolly the coolest kids, Dico is a literal comedy genius.
"theres something you should know. I've never really liked snow. You blow" LOL!!
Really he has kids ?? Awesome
Blow like the wind and the coke in my nose. Sixteen divorces but who would've known. and men maybe maybe men is what I'l go to next around the bend giving head on the corner of a bench, but that's okay. I could climb an electric fence today, but Chris Raab might piss on it and fucking Arnold will come in and fucking talk some shit. "I'll tell u what I think of it I"ll live to see that day I punch my fist into your face." Uzi nine millimeter...
i know bam invented the cky videos, but Dico was the master mind
Tyler Payment I can't believe they haven't spoken to each other in so long. Seems really weird. I mean they're all adults now can't they just say hello to each other .
My wife met bam at the Albuquerque airport, well she was working yesterday . He even gave me a shout out. She said he was so nice, and left a hefty tip too..!
I remember the night jackass premiered on MTV...that shit blew my mind as a little kid
Same dude
Blew my mind as a 25 year old lol
Thanks bam my dad loved you and all the guys from jackass he was a Vietnam veteran hated everybody but he love you thanks
Tell your pops thank you for his service. Something Vietnam vets don’t hear too often, and it’s a damn shame
Thank you for doing this one, I am so happy he’s back
Franken Peter
That's okay. He's having fun, he's skating, it's all good. He's way better than he was a few years ago.
Cole Marano yh dude I’m pretty sure he’s sober now
He’s not fat because he’s been in Europe isolated, working out and now he’s skating everyday again
Franken Peter guess what? he’s not.
Franken Peter he has skated FDR since you commented this and he keeps doing better. surprise
I feel like Viva la bam (or everything this guy did) opened the door and fan base for everything Rob Dyrdek has ever done on MTV.
Yeah pretty much. Although Big was a big part of it. Noone would have watched that show without Big.
@Hal Jordan big croppie flop
Omg stop it
I was so pissed when Viva la bam ended and here comes rob and big I was like "What the hell is this shit they do away with bam for this?" MTV fucked up big time I think.
Shillmode
I would actually pay to see bam sit on a stage and just share his stories of the Jackass/CKY crew
he def has done that
So would I
Wifey and i seen Steve O tell stories and he was hilarious....as good and better than some comics which we see often too. I dont think Bam will do so cause he might be $et up$ $enough but that would be a show i will buy!
live podcast it bam!
He tried that....didn’t work out so well because he was drunk telling the same old stories over and over.
I like how everyone in the comments is a skater, I feel so happy.
Same!!
I'm not a skater. But I did do a butt fuck ton of art on some boards. I spent all my time playing music while my friends did the skating. Respect.
Better than his Epicly Later'd. So many good stories.
These new epicly later'd show don't really have the vibe of the old ones.
Very true
I think they took his epicly latrd off youtube cause i cant find it
This interview got me crazy emotional, this guy was my childhood! Love this dude. #LongLiveBam
God damn 5 years did a lot to this man
Shit strangely hits a soft spot for me. He's like the one gnarly dude from the skatepark when you were growing up and then they completely fall off, then 10 years later they come poking around again. It's like a unicorn sighting or something.
Todd Tudor definitely it’s like a friend you haven’t seen in years
Damn it toddly you that dude my guy
Seeing how old Bam is now reminds me of how old I've gotten.
No shit. I'm not even one to point out whack shit....but I'm really glad this guy looks like he aged twice as much as me during all this time.
Drugs are a hell of a thing I guess....
Nice
ghbutler he’s honestly not super old he just really didn’t take care of himself growing up and also white ppl don’t age well lol
ghbutler And now you’re two years older
@@Justinkotf123 thats a myth. Some white ppl age bad just as some black ppl age bad. Roger is 5 years older than Bam. He doesnt look older then Bam fs.
I live in a 99% black neighborwood, it is in fact on of the biggest projects in all EU. Casal da Mira, google it! Blacks arent all the same. Green Cape ppl are so diferent from Guinea-Bissau ppl, which are way different from Angola ppl, you see what Im saying? Do you really think Italian or Portuguese ppl are the same whites as the
Scandinavian, or like Russians?
I can say I was one ofthose 40,000 boards! Thanks Bam.
Richard Tipton same!
I had at least 10 of his boards
That’s just one pro model he had like 50
hope your friends are treating you better bam, ousting you for an addiction isnt help. it was nostalgic hearing you talk about the old days.
Never heard of this channel before but this has to be one of the finest constructed interviews I've ever seen. Always loved Bam anyway, but the chemistry and sincerity between all the dudes is perfect. Great questions too, really enjoyed it. Thanks.
+Rob Earley thanks Rob!
Skateboarding in a nutshell 💙
I’m so damn interested in Bam’s life. I could listen to him tell stories about the early 2000s all day.
He was and looked healthier and happier but he better take good care of himself.
He's A sweet, positive guy. A family man. A best friend. A husband. A daddy. A skater. Most importantly just Bam.
Bam won the Philly Freeze contest at FDR 98. Gave all his stuff away. Ripper for sure! Great day.
I really hope Bam sticks to his sobriety. You can see he's definitely still got a lot going on that he must be struggling with just by his demeanour and lack of confidence in himself. So glad to see he's recovering and in the right direction.
One thing I've always loved about Bam is how he's always pushed for rock and metal bands to get some of that spotlight. Of course, we got HIM and CKY as the most prominent examples. Let's also not forget GWAR, Cradle of Filth, Children of Bodom, Nocturnal Rites, Strapping Young Lad, Heaven Shall Burn, and tons more from the Viva La Bam and Bam's Unholy Union days. Granted, some of them were already getting recognition in America. Some bands you wouldn't have even thought of until rewatching the episodes and doing extensive research on the soundtrack. Hell, Slayer didn't need Bam on the show but he clearly did his part in promotion for that. You could clearly see that he did his best to promote the musicians he genuinely believed in, unlike some celebrities who only promote music that's popular in the top 40.
Huh, that's something I never really thought about but that's interesting. Only way I heard of gwar was from the couple of episodes of viva la bam featuring them. not that it's my kind of music but that is cool how he pushed for metal bands to get recognition
Great points, so many people these days want to hide bands away from the spotlight.. great music should be shared.
Always loved this about Bam and CKY. They put the music they liked in their videos.
I agree & didn't have to always be metal either. I remember on Radio Bam he played a Square Pusher track.
Well Said Mate!! He Made Skateboarding and Goth / Metal music an truly unholy alliance
I stopped skating for like 6 years because I had kids, I grew up watching Bam and I recently got back on the board and i felt the same trying to learn everything again. Super excited to see one of my favorites get clean and start skating again.
I see bam and I go back to the glory days just skating everyday full of hope and ambition !!!wish I was 15 again and everything in life was normal cause 27 adult shit sucks someone lmk if you have a time machine to rewind the world
Good old times :) 36 and we grew up with all the classics from the 90´s. Mullen, Song, Thomas, Haslam, Vallely and Hawk... just awesome :)
Anyone else notice that he's wearing the Auryn necklace from Neverending Story? Loved that movie.
Glad to see Bam looking to be in better health, hope he stays that way and just enjoys his life.
Looking good Bam - keep it up
Bam is such a unique and animated guy. Love watching him
This dudes heart is so big he always gives a little bit of everything he has to somebody else
Bam got me into skating when I was 12 in 2003. I got my first tv that was kinda broken so I couldn’t see the subtitles and I had to learn English. Thank you Bam!
metavlog That's pretty rad.
Great comment! ❤
Girl skaters are so cool :)
Ya know. Hearing the pressure that he was under fresh out of drinking age and the amount of responsibility he had even at 15 let alone 24 is crazy. He fell so hard and did a 180 after the immediate lime light. I've been following Bam since my brother showed me the first CKY video in 2000. Before I even saw Jackass. And to have him as a hero..in my book..means alot to hear these stories. I'm 3 months sober and at 29 I haven't accomplished a fraction of what he had at this age. So proud of him for fighting addiction and bulimia..gaining weight and getting back into it. I couldn't be more proud of him. Here's to another 20 years and hopefully another 100 of your adventures buddy.
The nine club has genuinely good interviews. I watched the Mile Valleyly interview with the impression on Mike as a dixkhead from that fight video n a few clips of him skating, but his interview completely changed my opinion of him, he is actually a really down to earth, and an actually a really good dude.
I got slapped by Bam just yesterday. Best feeling ever!!!!! I’m pretty sure that’s good luck too!
It's good to see bam talk about skating like this especially at his age. its a good sign after everything else that happened.
Get Daewon on the show that would make a great episode.
One of his doughnut decks is in the back too. :)
Chris Gracia YES AND YES!!!!!
yes please!
You where my childhood Bam, I’m 29 now. Thanks.
You should have spent that childhood learning how to spell.
This was the best interview of anyone ive watched in a long time.
Great to see bam happy again and healthy
This is by far the best episode so far. I honestly could watch this whole thing.

A lot better than that vice piece

More like Mario from Mario bros.
This is one of the best podcasts I've seen. It's honestly so refreshing.
Met bam down south in the early 2000s. He’s a great dude
OG bam himself!! Your the best man. Keep it up.
Honestly, when I started skateboarding was when Bam was into the whole Rockstar mindset so I never really appreciated him as a person, but now that I got to see his VICE documentary and see what the man went through you can get a glimpse of understanding from his perspective.
God I miss bam. I really do. Hate to sound like a fanboy but the guy just is so cool
Amazing how much the audio has improved from these days. So much warmer and more dynamic now.
