Hey, guys! How are you? We hit the 30K finally!!!!! 🤩 It’s been five months! I really appreciate your support.
Some people said it grows so fast and some people said it’s too slow. 😆 But I certainly don’t care about the number. Every single my subscriber is really really important to me. ❤️
I was supposed to upload (outdoor) live performance for 30K but there were so many problems in the audio system. So I decided not to upload it this time. Anyway, it was so much fun to play outdoor. I’m hoping to present a live performance in the near future.
Thank you again and love you guys!
Congrats!!

I think its more comfortable like that for your thumb
Sounds like a bee
It's a shame Liszt can't see you play, as only a few can do it afterwards. You're among them!
Every time I watch this I'm blown away. The visual representation really helps to drive that home. I'm a guitar player, and cannot wrap my brain around the complexity of playing the piano. I found it too daunting from the start, so I stuck with guitar as a kid. I wanted to learn the cello, but my parents told me they were too expensive, so I was gifted a guitar.
I’m also a piano player and it still blows my mind that people are able to play that many notes, that fast and accurately while still conveying emotion. Truly a gift to be able to play pieces of this caliber
Those perfect transitions from forte to pianissimo have captured my heart.
Liszt : Yea I wrote a little Etude for scales.
7:45 damn that beat drop
It's like 3 am rn but just I can't stop listening to your gorgeous renditions of Liszt and Chopin!
Random question. Does enyone else hear the resemblance between: Liszts liebestraum no.3 and Schuberts impromtu no.3?
Yessssssssss finally someone sees it too
Phew, i tought i was the only one. Could easily be that Liszt got inspiration from Schuberts Impromptu
@@THEkillerMISKOW yes it definitely is possible... And honestly, knowing liszt, it wouldn't really surprise me, but I have to say, Liebestraum 3 is... Enchanting, for the least, even if one doesn't know schubert's 3rd impromptu, which is also very, very, very beautiful
YEAH
I hear 1:27 to 1:33 as totentanz lol.
As a pianist, I am still learning this piece but wow bro I’m very impressed by your skill level. Mephisto Waltz No. 1 by Franz Liszt is crazy. I hope you succeed.
Anyone who can play this fright night piece is exceptionally gifted at the piano. Really well played, sir. Amazing

Incredible! In some parts there are the most convincing renditions of this piece I've heared. I am hesitant to give piano-cannels in this style a subscription, but I gladly did. Top-concert-quality playing.
I wonder how many people imagine their OWN hands playing this?
for me you are the best pianist to have brought the mephisto waltz, you made me fall in love with it. Really good.
And I love the halloween mask👻
Thanks for saying that my pieces are the best!
Wow I didn't even know it was possible to play that good. Very impressive as always and congrats for the 30k you deserve it !

I remeber when i had first discovered this amazing piece. Whenever i didn’t have headphones available i used to play this piece from start to finish in my head.
I STILL CANT STOP LISTENINH TO THIS LIKE A YEAR LATER
I love it how he just suddenly turns to the piano and plays mephisto waltz perfectly, it almost seems like he did the whole thing in one take
Traum, this has to be one of the best performances of this piece I have heard, and I have heard many. Cheers mate 🎉
This genius doesn’t even have 1 million subscribers, and why are there so few views!? PEOPLE START APPRECIATING PEOPLE'S WORK AND CLASSICS!!!
I love how at 1:35 Liszt was like "ok that part was pretty hard, now do it again
*but on your left hand*"
Unbelievable! It just like reading a thrilling and suspenseful story. Appreciate your interpretation, I enjoy it much!
that glissando had me in tears, what a legend
Traum, I would just like to let you know that I was purely dumbfounded the moment I saw your channel. Literally a piece. Every. Day... The only explanation I have is that maybe you're a savant or just a legendary person who can memorise and sight read EXTREMELY WELL. I'm still merely at grade 6/7 pieces so I don't think I'm qualified to say this but your playing is just 🔝. It's virtuosic and precise (in which most pianists sacrifice precision for speed, but not you) and that makes it all the more impressive. BUT... The fact that you learnt the mephisto waltz in like 3 days at this level of precision is just... I don't think I can even fathom your existence goodbye :))
He is an active pianist with a big repertoire. He doesn’t learn these pieces for UA-cam. He probably has been playing them for months and years, so he is just recording them to promote the channel.

TRAUM Wow thanks for replying traum! I’m a fan of u!! Pls face reveal soon :)
I first heard this piece in the movie "The Mephisto Waltz" starring Alan Alda around 1971. He later stated that the movie was plagued with mishaps during filming including an injury to himself. It's worth seeing if you like the horror genre.
I absolutely love this waltz! Thank you traum

My favorite melody of this entire waltz
Yes.... devil’s piece, you will gain quickly eventually but it’s hard to tell when... either way just keep making this unbelievable content and I’m glad the notification system finally didn’t fail me and show up like 5 hrs late!
Edit: now that I’ve finished watching the entire video... there is no question you are a professional.... the atmosphere you generate legit brings me tears of joy when I hear such beautiful and chaotic emotion, no joke. I'm not 100% sure but I don't think he is a professional. He edits a lot of notes I think. Sometimes there are played like 15 notes while you can only hear 10 of them. Especially on pieces like this. But I'm not sure tho, maybe its not edited and I'm telling bs.
@@ginjopiano he plays some notes by mistake which he didn't supposed to play them.
This piece is really for piano players. I don't think a listener can enjoy this piece as much as the pianist, especially the opening section .
the start is fricking sick and th whole piece too, i think it become my favorite piece
hello, i think that "mephisto", comes from the popular german classic "faust" by goethe, lemme explain the plot rq, for context:
1. god and satan (mephisto is the satan in this play, his full name is mephistopheles) make a bet that faust (the guy's name) has a pure heart and cant be manipulated
2. mephisto goes to faust, and offers him to be his servant in echachnge for his soul,
3. faust does it, and now he has infinite wishes and gets together with a girl and gets a kid
4. faust and the women were not married, and back then it was not allowed to have children with no marriage, so they killed the women for doing something that god supposidly doesnt like
as a german, this book had effect on world litarature, and is by far the most famous german book, it also affected arts and music, for example there is many paintings of the play (like the scenes) and due to franz liszt living at the time where this book peaked (2 or 3 years after the release), he based his composition on the develish character, that represents greed and agony, just like the vibes this great peace gives.
btw this is just the reason why I think the peace is called this way, and might be other reasons, but i think this is the reason
bye (srry for long message)

Aaahhh the Mephisto Waltz I think it's extraordinary . I love the speed of it and the sheer explosions . It's so the develish , fiendish Mephistopheles character oooo a frenzied waltz with Faust. So the mask so fitting 😆🌺

This is the most powerful interpretation I've heard of this piece
Traum is fantastic here as always, but if you like powerful interpretations you've gotta check out Horowitz's mephisto
It's sounds like liszt wanted to. Maybe it's late, but thank you so much to have a chance to listen the best performance of this. The sound is so full and others punctuation marks so exact...
