Wow, can't believe how bad it looks inside. It was an amazing place to work, brings back so many memories. Would so love to have been there to look round myself
I used to work there as a waiter in 1994/5 I remember one of the waitresses called Charlotte she was off to Uni, I had a pushbike stolen from the basement at that time, but was a good place to work, can't remember the lady in charge of the waiting staff, I remember the Irish Coach Parties that used to come on a weekend, I was also at Ayr Tech studying Hospitality Management!!
Amazin troops, what always saddens me about these places is the memories, the different generations, the laughs the arguments, parties, fights, men women and children passin through all the different areas of that structure over the years, all distant memories and left to decay, so sad, bet many a great story could be told from that place, a cryin shame but a great video people 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏
That what happens though when foreign rich people buy over property just for the monetary profits and down the line when there no more financial benefit they just get abandoned and we have to watch it crumble before our eyes unable to do anything. Absolutely disgraceful it is allowed to happen.
Thank you for reminding me of some of the best times in my youth. E.G. Kintyre suite and Kyle suite.😆 😆 also the ghastly nemesis of the restaurant, . Noted your post and video from UA-cam on remembering auld Ayr web site. Just wondering if you and your colleagues were so concerned for your safety and the state of the building falling down around you. Why according to your film , did you spend 10 hours there?. .seems a bit rash to me . Unless of course you had a reasonable fee?😁
It’s sad to see a beautiful old lady of a building left to rot away. I’d love to be able to go there myself have a look around inside It’s definitely been ransacked and those pictures on the walls need saving, yet removing anything yourself is in the eyes of the law Thief by finding, not worth the hassle
@urbexoutlaws Been confirmed today it's being pulled down after drones inspected it from above , all the floors have collapsed leaving the walls too dangerous 😢
That’ll take millions to get it back to habitable unfortunately it’s is going to end up being demolished, the owner has just brought it left it to rot , it is so sad to see, old buildings need to be saved, yet people buy them cheap leave them to rot or get burned down and then demolish, the land then they sell off for other homes to be built on.
Great footage guys, have walked past that hotel hundreds of times since I was a 3 years old and have never seen inside 🙌 Can't believe this place is costing 60k *a month* just to lie empty covered in scaffolding 🙄😳 I personally hate background music guys but it's personal choice I guess. New subscriber 😊👍
We found out how this horrible fire started… a 13 year old girl and 17 year old girl started a fire in one of the rooms in the hotel on the 2nd floor… it has been burning since 5pm last night until this morning right now… the police have arrested the 2 girls and they will be in prison for a long time… the police are saying to Ayr and prestwick to stay away from the building as the fire men have under control… keep u updated
The police say that it will collapse on the train station I was there watching this fire burn in the hotel… last night… me and my mum wanted to drive to the front of the building… until my mum looked at her car wheel and it was flat… lol
my GoPro makes a lot of noise because of the stand its on so I add music to try drain that out. I'm also learning how to use a new editing software and was struggling with the audio levels 😅 I've uploaded a more recent video with slightly less music 🤣
Heartbreaking to watch I did coupe shoots there one at life nr beginning of video ! Did a shortbread film in basement which was gym and boiler room did u manage getb down there ?

Fantastic work guys brought tears to my eyes seeing it like that, I was 22 when I worked there!
This has turned out to be a rather important record of how things were, now that this has all been destroyed completely. 😔
Working on a way to get footage of the inside after the fire
@@urbexoutlaws ohh that would be incredible!… could be dangerous of course. 😬🚧
We’re thinking of flying the drones in
Im criying right now i am really sad!😢
Well done guys. Thanks for highlighting that, as sad as it is to see the waste of a once magnificent building. I hope it prompts positive action.
was torched sadly, no way tio restore it ,now =(
'Crumbling' is perfect word. Just sad to see for once the Station Hotel was a beauty in it's time...
it's only got worse since then :(
So sad that such a beautiful building has been burned down, glad this video is up
Was rewatching my video and it’s heartbreaking to think it’s all gone
God I didn’t expect that much damage I use to work there as a waitress many years ago. Good explore
Used to work here back in the late 70’s. Brought back lots of memories. So sad to see it like this.

Thank you a really enjoyed this many a great in the hotel loved music and had a tear or two just hope someone can do something with it
Was the building just left open for all to enter (hence all the damage) prior to the fire/s?
It was difficult to get in most of the damage was just decay
just read the daily record article about exploring this place, absolutely surreal
THIS GURL IS ON FIRE
I yust to work there as a room servise
It's a disgrace it was ever allowed to get into a state of disrepair

Great vid thanks . Just one criticism the music is to loud so cant hear what you say ,
only reason for the louder music is so you can't hear the noises the go pro makes🤣 ill keep it in mind for part 2 😁
Heartbreaking to see that the state this hotel is from a year ago the owner should be ashamed of himself. Brilliant video
aparantly the Malaysian owner keeps avoiding talks with the council
As of last night, this building is no more. Lost to a fire 😢 You might have been some of the last people to see inside it.
Did it burn to the ground?

Hi good video however can I suggest that you keep it natural (no background music) for next vid.I just think it's better
I'll keep that in mind 😌
