I love hints that are based on consideration of the control interactions and making a direct workflow without having to loop repeatedly. Excellent advice!
Honestly thanks for this tip. I always seems to do everything first and then do dehaze last. Now I’ll definitely do this the other way around. Makes total sense.
I use it frequently. On some images skin tone turns orange and I get into that battle. Thanks for another great video. You are truly the master of Light Room.
I have hardly used dehaze but not only has this alerted me to it but also when to use it. Previously when I used it I did go round in circles a bit so gave up. Unfortunately I tend to follow the order of adjustments as presented in LRc. Thanks.
In you videos, how do you zoom the individual adjustments panel when demonstrating what you're doing? I think that might be helpful when I'm on a Zoom call with a fellow photographer (we sometimes play with adjustments on each others images and it would be easier to follow along during the process).
Thank you for your videos. Your work flow and tips help me greatly. I do not shoot as often any more so am needing quick refreshers and tips for the new updates. I just got the topaz photo ai suit and with your tutorials, I am amazed at the results. I would print and publish more but even with monitor calibration I finished results seem to vary greatly, do you have any tips? Thank you again.
I'm not always sure if an image has haze to dehaze. This image was pretty obvious, but I've had images where I moved the dehaze button and it looked so much better, but I wouldn't have thought there was haze.
Not to nitpick, but you referred to your subject as "her." Having been to Africa several times and photographed a cazillion lions, I think this is a young male. But yeah, great thing on dehaze as I am dealing with that now from some hazy NYC photos. I watch all your vids. Cheers.

I know this was for LR users. In PS we would just make a duplicate layer, adjust DeHaze and change the blend mode to Luminosity.
It may be a short video but what an important tip! Thanks for sharing.

Superb. Once again - faultless logic applied here. Thank you Anthony.

Thank you. Very helpful tip. I wouldn't think it worked that way
Thanks!
Thank you!

Very interesting! Thanks!😊
Great tip. I’ll have to do this.
Thank you so much dear friend! Amazing idea...

Very nice. Thank you for the tip.
Thank you Tony the tiger 😀
Great tip. Thank you.
Nice video. Simple, but effective and insightful.
That was a great tip - thank you
great video Anthony
Very interesting, I needed that!
Thanks, Anthony.
Thanks. If noise and focus were factors, would you correct them first and last, respectively?
Very good advice. Thankyou!
Another great tip !!!
Exceptionally well done
Thank you!
Thanks, good stuff.

I would really like to know this as well

I love your work
Very helpful tip. Do you recommend using the same dehaze procedure in your workflow with other software, specifically Luminar Neo? Thank you.
Great reminder to use the right tool in the right order!. BTW, that's a juvenile male, he's got a mane. :)
What command would it be for windows? Whites and blacks? Thank you!
Wow, no dehaze slider on my lightroom 5.7.1. Whats “my” options Anthony
Good idea to add dehaze early., I'll remember that. Thanks. IMO you added way too much blacks in the tone control.

I see this a lot. Like to know what exactly it does to the adjustments.
I shoot many toy products displayed behind glass. Dehaze takes out a lot of the reflection.
Stupid question, but how did the image get so hazy to start with? Was it taken through a glass partition?
Nice.
👍
