✔️ Clean ✔️ Un-pack/Laundry ✔️ Move dresser ❌ Make bed ❌ Clean bathroom
We just got back from Florida yesterday, and there's SO MUCH to be done! I have so many things on my to-do list, and whenever this happens, I get to overwhelmed, which leads to me shutting down and not getting anything done. So today’s plan is to stick to completely cleaning one area before moving on to the next. This way, I don’t end up distracted and cleaning toilets when i was trying to unload the dishwasher! 😂
My to-do list today: 📝
Living Room 🪴

- decide what to do with new coffee table 😬

- clear counters/floor
- put away target/walmart stuff
- tags off new pants/ take to laundry room

I always unpack right when we get home because I’m afraid of mildew or mold on wet clothes or bathing suits 🫣

We were a family of 4. We had 2 kids. They are all grown now but our son still travels the same way. I only packed what would fit in a backpack. We each got our own backpack and we only took what would fit. This included toiletries. This required us to each think through what was most important. Did we want 4 pairs of shoes or clothes for the week? We learned really quickly how to pack conservatively. But to answer the question when do we unpack? It depends on if we have wet swimwear. If nothing is wet the unpacking waits until I can regroup. But now it's just hubs and me so the packing/unpacking is relatively easy breezy 💚
That’s a really good idea! We end up packing minimally due to limited space, but when the kids start wanting to pack their own stuff, this will definitely be my game plan! We travel with our dogs so space is tight!

Hi wow you were busy .I couldn’t do with dogs on my bed especially when new beddings going to put on .that’s just me xx 🇬🇧
We’ve gone back and forth with dogs on our bed, they always ultimately win, but I can’t deny that I love the extra snuggles!
I usually unpack as soon as we get home. I usually only did my husbands and my clothes. My daughters did their own. I have three small dogs and they sleep with us every night. I bought them beds. But I guess they weren’t as comfortable as ours. My dogs are supposed to be hypoallergenic. But one leaves little white balls of fur everywhere. He needs groomed again. I’m going to clean out our office. I have two shelves sitting in my hallway. I’m putting them in the office. But it’s full of stuff so they won’t fit inside. Your house reminds me of mine when my daughter’s were young. We had every animal and reptile there was. At one time we also had seven cats. My daughters kept bringing them home.
I love unpacking as soon as we get home too! Our dogs are the same way, not even the fanciest of dog beds can make them leave our bed! 😂 Office clean outs definitely take a lot of time and patience! My husbands office needs a good organizing, but we’re definitely procrastinating on that one, more than I’d like to admit! The thought of sorting through all the papers is so overwhelming! My kids would bring home cats in an instant if they could! Cats will have to be later on though.. 😂 One of our dogs, Milo, was rehomed by a family who had cats because he was absolutely terrified of the them and he would refuse to come in the house. I promised him no cats 😂❤️

Thank you!! I’m super sensitive to smell, so I tend to keep my laundry products super simple! I did just branch out a little though.. 😂 My staples are Tide Simply in the refreshing breeze scent, and some type of booster, right now it’s oxiclean powder, but I also use washing soda or borax. I don’t typically use dryer sheets, but I did just get those sheets to try but I haven’t opened the box yet, I’m too scared! lol I do love trying new scent beads and I just bought a small bottle of Gain after using it at my moms. I just add a super small amount though with my Tide Simply to add a hint of the smell and extra cleaning power. 😊
