We had the opportunity to sit down with Henrik Rubin Saaby, the designer behind 10332 Medieval Town Square, to get his insight into how to make the perfect nostalgic LEGO set. Saaby has been with the LEGO Group for decades and is responsible for some of the most beloved sets of the past few decades, going back all the way to the iconic Adventurers theme.
In this interview, Saaby talked through his approach to worldbuilding within a LEGO set, to expanding what's been previously offered in retro-inspired Castle sets, and the long-awaited return of the LEGO goat.
