Love this pattern. Very easy. Can hardly wait to make my own. But, at the moment, I have two scarves to knit before the end of next January, for family members. So, I'm going to have to wait awhile before I can knit this scarf for myself. Thank you for sharing this with us.
Thank you miss Joanne for your very nice patern. You're sweet lady and an excellent teacher. I like all your videos and I can understand you 'cause I'm from Greece and 55 years old!!!😅many greetings from Greece
i guess im asking the wrong place but does anybody know of a trick to get back into an instagram account..? I somehow forgot the account password. I love any tricks you can give me.
@Titan Dominik thanks so much for your reply. I found the site through google and Im trying it out now. Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Ooh love this pattern. Wrote it down to try. Love the texture and that it’s basically reversible. Think this would make a pretty scarf, shawl or blanket.
Hi Joanne, thank you for this. I'm making a scarf with this using UK DK (3) yarn and 8 mm needles - it looks stunning. Just the pattern I've been looking for to take with out with me, so I don't have to keep looking at a pattern. I think it may look even better with alpaca silk laceweight (0) yarn
Hi Joanne love your stitch. I’m trying it with a a sweater. I casted on114 stitches altogether. I want to make a simple square neck. Please tell me how to divide it and where will the knit stitch come in on the neck. Please give me the pattern for the square neck. You are so helpful. I know you will help me with this. It is such a pretty pattern and my first try with a sweater. Can I make the back plain. What do you suggest?
Yes, you can make the back plain. I never have but you can. For the neck, find the middle and take equal amount of stitches off on each side, making sure you have full pattern on each side.
Joanne do I put on an extra stitch on each part of the neck so that I can have the knit stitch at the beginning of neck. I’m confused!😢And thank you for been so patient with me.
Please make a swatch and measure if you have the same amount of stitches for 4 inches. Then you know if you need more ua-cam.com/video/F8aCXjklAA0/v-deo.html

@@sandraboullineau5283 Yes. You need to use a "border" stitch on each side
Thank you..
Thanks for the pattern. How would you cast off for this pattern though? Regular cast off?
Lindo!!!
Hi Joanne is it possible to show this stitch on a triangle shape for a triangle shawl? I would love to make one. Thank you.

I am knitting the front of my sweater using this pattern. The back will be plain stocking stitch. Will I need less stitches at the back?

Hello Ms. Joann. Do you have a simple nice 1 row repeat pattern for mens scarf? I love all your patterns just cant use them for a mans scarf?
I'll find one for tomorrow. A nice rib would be nice, so it doesn't curl at the sides.
Ok, I found one. Very nice and fast. Multiple of 4 plus 1. On every row you k2 and p2 end with k1. It's called Ribbing Joanne's stitch.
SLIP 1 purlwise
Hello mam nice one please teach us a Bret
Can you tell me how to bind this off? Is there a certain way to do that? Thank you!
I made a scarf with this stitch and I didn't bind off in pattern. I did a regular knit bind off .
Gr😘😘😘👍👍
I don’t know where to go to find patterns😢😢
