This line up is just full of WOW. Billy Sheehan is a master of Bass, Mike Portnoy is a Monster on drums, and Richie Kotzen does a astounding job of double duty with guitar perfection, and powerful, soulful vocals. Just so full of WOW!
i dont mean to be offtopic but does any of you know a tool to get back into an instagram account?? I somehow forgot the login password. I love any tricks you can give me.
@Noel Trace Thanks for your reply. I found the site on google and im in the hacking process atm. Takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Let me tell you, I´ve been waiting for something like this to happen for last fifty years. Here it is. Musicianship with terrifying drive combined with deep understanding to our craving for a melody!
+vesa vartiainen Well there is Haken, Ayreon, Liquid Tension Experiment, Alter Bridge. I specially recommend you the first three. The last one is less technical but still has an awesome understanding of melody.
One of the many things I notice about this band is how well they sit in the mix with each other. Their natural sounds blend & compliment each other extremely well. I do appreciate that! Peace
Crazy to think that Billy was with David Lee Roth's solo band, Richie from Poison and Portnoy from dream theater and countless others, their sound is unreal.
Dream Theater bore me to tears. Portnoy's style is perfectly suited with these guy's.Well impressed. Best rock album I've heard since i cant remember when.
Derick Sherinian was also in Dream Theatre. Sherinian, Portnoy, and Sheehan were in Sons Of Apollo Just before this band. This band is great but i wish sons of apollo would have stayed together. they were fantastic. ua-cam.com/video/J_1N8kVYfkE/v-deo.html
Diamond Dust It's not about a "childish flame war", or a X vs. Y championship, is just about Eric Martin have more sing technics and range than Kotzen... Kotzen is not a bad singer because that. But, well your argument was too strong, I'll shut up right now!

Siriusblck3 You clearly didn't listen to Richie solo stuff... Just watch "Richie Kotzen Vocal Range" video and listen to Mr.Big lives where they both sing live. He has more power and an incredible range and control. The only difference is that Richie is as good vocalist as he is a guitarist, bassist, keyboard player, writer and even an awesome drummer. :)
Sensational! Mike Portnoy is an amazing drummer! Who has not lived the shadow of Dream Theater, but the opposite, a leading progressive metal bands in the world who lived with a great creative contribution of the MP! The Mangini plays a lot, but the creative mind and the charisma of Portnoy are missing! You see his creativity and Billy Sheehan at The Winery Dogs with a smart music, showing that Mike does not need 30 drums to show what he can! Billy has a lot of reference from Mr. Big, but has a lot of Steve Vai on the songs too! The work these guys are amazing! Please, when you come to Brazil, do not forget to come to Curitiba - Paraná! I'll be in the front row to watch you!
wow sheehan sounds more grounded and it works so well! good to see him holding back a little and just working with a band more instead of just shredding
Musicians are like wine, they only get better as they get older. Great chemistry, these guys can go a long way. Awesome three piece, one of the best going round. I hope they come down under to Sydney.
+David James THANK YOU!!! There's no possible level of comparison between the two. People should start listening to Richie's solo records before saying that same ol' gibberish over and over again. He may sound (a tiny, tiny bit) similar to CC when going for higher notes but in everything else he's incredibly unique. His range knocks Mr. Cornell down EVERY F***ING TIME! Absolutely superb singer. (Damn, I love that man!!!)

I have been following this guy for years now and he has always been singing like this (and songwriting) all the time, the fact that most of the people dont know him doesnt mean he is copying or imitating no one, the guy is THAT fucking good, get over it and enjoy it!!
The Winery Dogs are the best new band of 2013 !!! Hands down, no doubt about it. Richie Kotzen is done paying dues and the payoff is this great new band. I seen them live last summer in NorCal and they are the real deal. Love>Love>Love
***** wow. i didn't know that. i knew something - something, not so much about pick-less players, but i didn't imagine it goes so far as soloing like this. thanks for the heads-up on this m8

@Noel Trace it worked and I actually got access to my account again. I am so happy:D
Thanks so much you saved my account :D
@Zeke Leonardo glad I could help xD
The musical chemistry between Kotzen and Sheehan is delightful to watch, and Portney of course is awesome as always.

All 3 of these guys can shred like no one's business. It's the fact that they can hold back and stay melodic that makes this band awesome.
now that's a fucking supergroup
Let me tell you, I´ve been waiting for something like this to happen for last fifty years. Here it is. Musicianship with terrifying drive combined with deep understanding to our craving for a melody!
I agree. Well said.
+vesa vartiainen check out Flying Colours! (mike portnoy, steve morse, ...)
+vesa vartiainen Well there is Haken, Ayreon, Liquid Tension Experiment, Alter Bridge. I specially recommend you the first three. The last one is less technical but still has an awesome understanding of melody.
Thank you for info! I´ll dig in.
vesa vartiainen yes !!!!

Crazy to think that Billy was with David Lee Roth's solo band, Richie from Poison and Portnoy from dream theater and countless others, their sound is unreal.
I cannot listen to this song enough, let alone every song on both albums. Makes my day every time I hear it, thanks guys.
mine too yeah

Funny Kotzen is a better singer than any of the singers he's been in bands with
Better than Bret Michaels!!!
Sorry but Eric Martin is freaking awesome and with all respect with Kotzen, Martin is a better singer.
Siriusblck3 Oh shut up, and quit with these childish flame wars
Diamond Dust It's not about a "childish flame war", or a X vs. Y championship, is just about Eric Martin have more sing technics and range than Kotzen...

So Much talent in this band is ridiculous ❤
sound of the bass is so good..
rarest thing on earth :
4. diamonds
3. astatine
2. charizard card
1. mike portnoy playing with single bass
Diamonds aren't rare though
Nop
not really. his 2nd kit that he used for live (and some studio albums) was single bass with a double pedal.
but wasnt his main kit
.05 Sheehan playing without distortion
Iommi and Hughes, love it. The master of the heavy handed riff and the voice of rock and roll.
Awesome tune. Awesome band. Kotzen's voice always blows me away.
I love EVERYTHING about this band, this song, the albums but the voice... Oh, that voice is just DIVINE!!!
Five years on.....and this album gets better and better!
Billy.. one of the greatest bass players ever born.
Amazing, what Billy Sheehan creates with his bass!!!
For me, one of the best guitar solo ever...pure energy
3 of my favorite musicians, awesome band
I love how much Mike and Billy enjoy playing. That kind of love can't be faked. My new favorite rhythm section.
Sensational! Mike Portnoy is an amazing drummer! Pretty laid back for Billy .... Wish we were that talented....
How can you go wrong with the mixture of talent? I can't wait to see them!
This band is by far the most unbelievable 3 piece that's been out in years......
KOTZEN, PORTNOY, & SHEEHAN ROCK BALLS ON EVERY LEVEL!!!
I like the drum sound and line! So simple and make the song very good!
Billy Shehan is much HAPPY for this kind of music ... Where is the positive energy of hard rock ?
This is the best album iv'e heard in years. Every song is great!
😍😍😍😍😍. Got it to hear as a recommondation for new music.. Listenend to three songs after another and they are all just great. Nothing else to say :))
This band is so amazing !
WOW! Kinda crazy when you think about it that these guys were in Mr. Big & Poison! The musicianship is top notch!
wow sheehan sounds more grounded and it works so well! good to see him holding back a little and just working with a band more instead of just shredding
Kotzen is Such A Smooth Cat...Masterful 🎶🎤🎸
Portnoy Is john Bonham in this day in age amazing drumming
I agree!!!
that smile after his drum fill @2:33 epic 👍🏻
I'm becoming obsessed with this band.
and me, shame I'm late to the party
Can I join the club?
So, am I 🤟
Me too
Count me in!
Musicians are like wine, they only get better as they get older. Great chemistry, these guys can go a long way. Awesome three piece, one of the best going round. I hope they come down under to Sydney.
How many fuckin' times must I tell you all.......Chris Cornell sounds like Richie Kotzen
Laila Vieira Martins Cornell's vocal range is way way way better than Kotzen's, check some soundgarden live in the 90 and then you gotta believe me
Timothy Moser I know Soundgarden's music. I stand by my original comment, thank you. No hard feelings, mate.
Mastodon meets Alice in chains meets Chris Cornell with touches of alter bridge and avenged sevenfold. Anyone else hear that? Not too shabby.
Portnoy is my fav drummer of all time.
Super, super, super amazing intro👍👍👍👍👍
When Alice in Chains met Chris Cornell... Absolutely brilliant!
Exato
Woooooooow!!!!!!! Excellent!!!!!!!
3:30 to end ........... Pure awesome
true
yap
I was really sad when Portnoy announced he would be leaving Adrenaline Mob, cuz they were making some SICK fuckin heavy shit, sounded amazing. Glad to see he landed with Billy and Richie, cuz this stuff, while different, sounds equally amazing!
Time Machine"
Everything in place
Resting in this hole I dug
Time keeping pace
Thinking that its all been done
Day after day I wait there
Wasting my time
I lift my spirit with the shit I swore I would let go
I tell myself that I ain't slipping and its under control
But I'm out of control
Hardened like a stone
Broken cracked piece of me
Take me to the one
Trap me in a time machine
Oh, the time machine I ride
Oh, take me back relive my life
I'd go behind and change the tide, but where do I
The voice of Kotzen is amazing!
Richie is a phenomenal composer..
Come to Brazil again!!! PLEASE!!!
Epic music. Album of the year IMO!
amazing song amazing album
nice tandem with the bass and guitar, it's like Mr. Big reborn. i like it!
Mike you are the best!
Lead singer sounds like a mix of Michael Bolton and axel rose, this band is AWESOME
More like Michael Bolton and Chris Cornell to my ears.
I think he sounds like a fusion of Sammy Hagar, Glen Hughes, and a hint of Chris Cornell. He resembles nothing of Axl Rose.
yeah i guess ur right about axl rose so i would say hes a mix of any good classic rock singer and bolton
How about the singer sounds like Richie Kotzen and only Richie Kotzen!!! Because guess what - the singer IS Richie Kotzen !!!! btw...Bolton sucks & so does axl rose!!!
Sandy sandi nobody is going to give richie credit, thats the story of his life. he is doomed to be the most underrated musician of all time.
How amazing to have a bass player who does rythm and lead!
That boy, Richie Kotzen, has skills
Drummer is Rockin the hell out of this with these 2 amazin guitarist 🔥💯🌀🤯
Wow Ritchie Kotzen has turned into Billy Joel!! Great band :)
The whole Album is played that way. Caught them in August at Reggie's in Chicago. Richie was like 3feet in front of me playing.
Melhor Baixista
The Best Bassist Sheehan♥
I'm a huge fan. Heard "Desire" on SiriusXM, bought the download, and can't stop playing the entire recording. Winery Dogs provided the new music I've been looking for.
Best I've heard in a long time!!!!!!!!
Really cool vibe and song! and of course the telecaster the unsung hero of Rock'n'Roll.
People can keep discussing if Richie Kotzen "sounds like ____(X singer)" but the truth is Richie Kotzen actually sounds like RICHIE KOTZEN. It's actually amusing, all these comments from clueless wannabe-critics who never heard any of Kotzen's amazing solo-records.
I like his voice fits well with this trio awesome
THIS IS MY FAVORITE WINERY DOGS TUNE BAR NONE. AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!
How could anyone give this a thumbs down ? This is pure awesome talent x3
Hope this band stays around for awhile!

very good band
The Winery Dogs are the best new band of 2013 !!! Hands down, no doubt about it. Richie Kotzen is done paying dues and the payoff is this great new band. I seen them live last summer in NorCal and they are the real deal. Love>Love>Love
sickest rock song out there!!!!
Essa banda com Billy Sheehan é muito boa !!!.
One of the best guitar solos ever!
Solo de guitarra incrível!!!
Inovador!!!
Awesomeness,,,, the drummer n bassist....
Amazing to think Richie didn't use a pick
except the solo. thats why it's not filmed
***** wow. i didn't know that. i knew something - something, not so much about pick-less players, but i didn't imagine it goes so far as soloing like this. thanks for the heads-up on this m8
Stryder I agree. His playing is sick. Im s huge fan of legato
***** nah, he said there are parts on the album where he used a pick. he just doesnt use them at all live i think is the deal. if you listen to this solo live he sounds different because of it.
i can definetly hear pick scrape in the solo
Power trio, The Police, Rush and The Winery dogs, best power trios
Por que Portnoy é tão foda ?
Kraa ele distroi compõe demais na bateraa......
Incredible band, incredibly talented individuals. Best music to come out in a LONG time
PQP MUITO FODA!
ESPERAR O QUE DA JUNÇÃO DESSES 3 MONSTROS ?
This seems to be one of those rare times that a "supergroup" actually works. Great writing, great skills, great chemistry.
Maior trio de rock do mundo
I have had the whole album in my "playlist" since I purchased it this summer. I haven't enjoyed a new rock album, from cover to cover, in many years. Here's to hoping they find their way to SoCal in 2014. I would love to see this super group live.
käptn love
2:10 epic bass solo
You just gotta love hearin these 3 legendary kats on a stage
Everyone needs to try this. Put it on 1.25 speed. Its so much better
+Daniel Davidson lool indeed
perfect, i love this
he's right, sounds a good deal better
sounds better in the beginning, but to insane in end.
Time machine indeed
My first time listening to this song. It is beautiful. WD kicks ass
I miss Portnoy's drumming in DT.
i dont, no drummer do.
Mike Mangini does not fit with this band; he's way too technical and he totally ruined Spirit Carries On in the Live at Luna Park DVD. Oh God....such a beautiful song....

dickie darockman Well someone is uber-sensitive, aren't you?
most of DT fan are musicians. when all got entertained, drummers got the same boring hit . with mangini on board, thanks God everybody now happy.
WOW! WHAT A DISPLAY OF PURE MUSICIANSHIP! GREAT SONG!
ROCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
One of my fav on the album, amazing music guys!! Now a DVD
this song is better than anything dream theater did in the last 4 years.
If you are into straight forward commercial music ur sister would like, you have a point.
I think, we already have awesome DT albums recorded with Mike and we can enjoy them endlessly. Don't even bother to reply. There are 'old-stuff-about-DT-crying' fans everywhere when one the former/current DT member(s) is/are involved ... and it's so freaking upsetting. If you don't like what they do now, listen to what they did then. PUNTO E BASTA.
People are so lame it's scary.
Mike B Are you kidding me? New DT songs have so much complex song structure.I am not talking about drums though but the chord structure is quite complex of new DT than this

That is one fine band!!
Mike is from the area I live in.
Cd (THE WINERY DOGS) in my bookcase, vid in my favs Great Supergroup!
Surprised that they would let 2:54-2:55 to be out of sync.
Love these guys! Catchn' em live next month in Charlotte.
The jam gets better and better the more I listen to it. You dudes kickass. Big shout out to an old home town boy Billy Sheehan- bad mofo on the bass
This song shows so much influence from Alice in Chains.
+Ima WreckU It reminds me of Angry Chair.
+Murilo Neves yes very much. almost seems like they intentionally did that since the lyrics discuss going back in time sooooo perhaps back to grunge days? or maybe it's a song about Layne.
I never thought about it, but perhaps thats why its the one that I feel more in my gut. always loved AIC...
I agree 100%. The main riff and the vocal harmonies during the verses are straight out of the AIC playbook.
as good if not BETTER than Alice in Chains
SWEET! See you guys in Portland and SEATTLE Baby!
