That’s a beautiful guitar.
The natural finish looks amazing!
Lennons was originally sunburst, that he had stripped to natural around the white album
My dream guitar since 2018
It is a lovely guitar, really is. Both John and George Harrison had the same 1965 epiphone casino in vintage sunburst finish and it wasn't until 1968 when they were on their spiritual retreat in India that Donovan told them that taking the finish off of an instrument will open it's sound up more and make it sound better. So when they got home they both decided to take the finish off of their guitars, and John's iconic natural casino was born! George didn't bother with his too much, and I believe that his estate are still in possession of his casino along with his other guitars that he didn't gift away
I got mine right after you did. Definitely one of the best guitars I've ever owned. It's a real work of art!
Nice axe! The Atomik sends. Peace ✌.
Nice guitar, doesn't Gary Clark Jr. play an Epiphone Cosino, too.😊
I had one and I found the dog ear p90’s a bit muddy so I sold it.
He took the finish off of his guitar. Which somebody mentions. Below. Or above. Ha!
I bought a 12 string epiphone acoustic and it never worked. Had string rattle from high frets or something the day I got it. It was fine at the store and the next day it sucked. The store wouldn’t refund because I wasn’t in the computer yet they put everyone that buys anything in the computer. Dont shop long and mquade. Unless you just needs strings or sticks.
do you at least like good snakes?
Sure Jan
you should have kept this one Landon
I love my casino
Pick one guitar and stay with it.
Says you!
Mom collected Lenox, a friend collected fiesta. Guitars are fun and functional. If you have to have one guitar, what do you suggest?
A Fender Strat @@namastezen3300
@@namastezen3300 telecaster
Also John loved his casino until he didnt. Wasnt he complaining about it on an album?
His was probably a one piece neck too. Which I don't believe that Epiphone to be. Usually a three piece neck these days, yeah? But man, hollow body guitars? Clean, beautiful. Try to play it loud & distorted? Not so easy to control!
Why doesn’t his have a pick guard? Is his fully stripped?
He actually wasn’t that happy with it, that’s why he sanded it down
did bro sleep enough
Gibsons fault for moving Epiphone offshore...
The Chinese, Korean & Indo guitars are ok (getting dearer by the day), not everyone can afford an American made pricetag.. no matter how bad they're being made.
If you can find a Japanese made casino elitist. I'm stilling slapping myself for ever selling it but I play an American made telecaster now 😂
@@enriquemendez1507 Hahahaha! I've got a Jap Tele...it's a great guitar!
I bought (from a pawn shop) an Epi Elite LP hardcase for my Special (cos Gibson only gave me a gigbag) had no clue the guitars were MIJ.👍
Doesn't matter where it's made. It matters how it's made. Stop it already
@@NintenDub Learn to decipher letters mate, then comments may make a bit more sense..
Then you yself can stop it.
..fully hollow, ..no center plank? What do you reckon it weighs in at, weight wise. (?)❤🔥🎶
I liked Paul's Epiphone better, ..it had a Bigsby trem on it, so I'm gonna Pass on this one, ..but let me Know when they send you Paul's, I'll give you my Mailing Address. 👍🔥🙋
👍🎸
Anybody talking shit about china india korean will conveniently leave out that Japan has made some of the best epiphone casinos out their with the elitist model. Seriously go read some reviews on those. And they are better with seymour duncan antiquity pickups
Had one didn't like it at all to each his own
Whoa! Another thing John Lennon loved was neglecting his son
Get a life loser
And abusing his first wife Cynthia, yoko wouldn't put up with it, she put the fear of karate in him lmao.
I wholeheartedly disagree. I think this guitar fails on everything but looks. These atrocious cheap pickups are as underwhelming as rainbow gum. What’s the output. 6k maybe? This isn’t complemented as a massive hollow body, that will scream feedback from the microphonic Chinese pickups.
This guitar, is for the stylish bachelor. Who wants people to know he plays guitar because.. why else would John Lennon’s guitar be just hanging there. It’s wall art.
Made in China .
This piece of crap rattles like crazy.
But it’s made in China and it isn’t a good instrument.
case closed!
I thought Lennon said he hated this version
That thing is ugly and the machine heads are junk on those.
