I just purchased a new Casino (2013 model from China w/ natural finish) and I'm loving it. Perfect set up, no flaws in fit and finish and it just sings or screams whichever you want. I played 2 others that fell short and sounded kind of "boxy" or something although they both needed fresh strings. This one is a winner though, loud and resonant unplugged and oozing tone through my DRRI. A very nice neck too.
I picked up a Cherry 2013 Casino yesterday, amazing guitar!!! Been looking for a long time for a good one and it found me!!! Greg could play boot laces and sound like a guitar god!!!!

Agreed! I think its really neat how if you want early 60s (1961-1964) Beatles sound you can do it on a Casino, if you want a mid 60s (1965-1966) Beatles sound you can do it on a Casino and even if you want a late 60s (1967-1970) Beatles sound you can do it on a Casino. Its a super versatile instrument!
Particularly with "Flats", I run D'addario 10-48 Chromes, just as good, (IMHO) as the "High Dollar" versions!

Great Scott! Greg is killing in this video. Best review of the regular Casino on YT! Sounds AWESOME. I've been wondering if the JL would be worthy since it is twice the price of the standard here in my country. Greg just prove that the regular is still a great instrument. I've played both JL and the STD in the store and liked the standard neck, but the revolution finish and clarity of the pickups are a tad better imho. Well, still deciding if I should trade my CIJ Fender Strat 62ri for a IBJL revolution or grab a STD. Thanks!!!
Every time you didn't complete the Get Back riff with the the cool bendy lick, a piece of me died. Nice video though :p I just bought this recently. It's just amazing. Got it on my amp sim at the moment, digital in, sounds so good this thing. I kiss it sometimes.

More budget guitars please ,not just the guitars we can’t afford
reffoelcnu alouncelal reverb has payment plans , standard casinos are cheaper than most pro guitars. A used standard casino with a payment plan is like $50 a month for a year. Not the cheapest but do-able if you have a job. And the payment plan makes it a lot easier than paying it all at once.
I just bought this guitar and it's nice. I think it personally suit's me and I think it was a good buy

Great demo. The stock pickups are solid, if you are willing to switch them out, I recommend buying the lollar pickups.

Sounds awesome. Just goes to show you, it's all about the skill of the guitarist, knowing how to set up a guitar (i.e. physical set-up), dial in the amp/pedal, and knowing what kind of music to play with them.

i bought one a couple of weeks ago same colour, my god its gorgeous and such a versatile guitar, so many different sounds you can get out of it. reasonably cheap too
Ditto - went to play one in Yorkshire England . They had a Strat, Gibson LP, SGs all sorts of exotics. bought this and a Marshall DSL 40C Vintage valve amp for under £ 700 As Paul Weller said... Good enough fir John Lennon fuck it, fine for me.
