The next pump and dump will be the 2024 restrike of the 1967 Swan Pattern coin coming out September 1. The gold and silver versions are sold out already but at least I managed to get a silver UNC one.

This whole pump and dump thing is a pain in the ass. I used to collect $2 colored coins and stopped when I was trying to order the poppy restrike and they sold out and were selling for hundreds over the issue price. I just couldn’t bring myself to pay that premium level.

Honestly, those dummy account owners would like to own more than two coins just to sell to the collectors at a higher price. Fake numismatists should not be numismatists as they take money from you.
They would like to own them all, then they can sell for $500. Like a Rich Biatch.
The mint had heaps oh the carded naidoc coins at the swap but i tbought $ 20 was a bit rich for a 50c coin . Mintage is 50,000 .i cant believe anyone would pay $60 for one.
They would be new collectors. Experienced collectors know better.

The problem is that people who think nothing of NAIDOC would of tried to snatch these coins up and will try and inflate the price. The right thing would be to sell it for $30 at most which includes shipping fee's paid. Maybe one day when we learn to appreciate our history. The mint at least had the raffle system. The other stores just have the limit.
True, but some people are just greedy. This is why there was a ballot and 1 customer. The line ups also limit how many they can get.
