My side rail locking tongues and front support plates don’t fit on the rail as shown in this video. They fall off because they are too big. The screw in the middle doesn’t do anything to help it doesn’t touch the rail when it is tightened all the way. My side rails are very secure but the tonneau would fly off at this point.
Hi I have a 2020 RAM Rebel with multi-function tailgate. The bed has some stabilization brackets which seem to be on the way of the siderails. Is there any way around this?
Better than reading the instructions. Installed on 2021 Dodge Ram 3500.

Slide the front support plate FIRST. Then install the drain tubes. Fits a second gen Tundra okay. Seems a tad short.

This will not work with multifunction tailgate
Remove the brackets

For some reason mine sticks up about a 1/4 inch and doesn’t look flush by the tailgate. What step did I miss?
Mine stayed the same way and i have a tundra i think thats the way it was made.
Loosen the rail and push it down as you retighten
Seems like this video is almost as useless as the instructions that came with it.
