The Dboots Backflips that come with the New Arrma Outcast EXB are freaking incredible on 12s on my Kraton exb. I tried the belted Proline Badlands and it snapped all 4 belts internally doing a backflip and the tires now wobble out of control. They are useless now. The new backflips have super thick sidewalls and can take all the power. Sickest 1/5th scale tire IMO.
I got the same tires on my brand new outcast 8s that I put a max5 g2 with hobbystar 56112 780kv in on two 6s 3,300mah. I know its a small pack but it's equivalent to 8s 5,000mah in watt hours so essentially a smaller side 8s battery. Anyways on my first run up to about 40 mph on a wheelie(pavement) the back tire came out of the rim. Seems to be all together but looking at the tire itself I don't see any glue where it came out.
Are they the new backflip BB tyres ?
PL Masher X seems the choice to make light and belted . Best stiffen the center diff too.

That was definitely a component failure rather than a system failure i bet if you get the right tires it would hold up, but yeah overall you definitely need a tougher tire anyway.

Need to earplug the center and 500k front and 200k rear.
That’s xrt Needs some weight to keep down the front ,on a lot of 12s power that’s why I like the weight on the exb Kraton handles power better

Running 12s on an 8s motor?? Won’t last long.
But the best tires for 12s I’ve used are the badlands MX43 they hold up the best.

I can see clearly what has happened, the front right tire wants not to be apart of the car anymore, it appears it has gained weight and seems a little broader than the other 3, I guess the skinnier ones are fat shaming this one and thus needs to go on a somewhat diet.

The 800kv motor on 8S is alreasy too much for the truck. You can't get near max speed with it. You definitely cant just punch the throttle. Even the less torquey 1100kv 5687 is overkill on 8s, but manageable. A 5687 1259kv on 12s wasnt even worth trying in an XRT.
KV is wayyyyyyyyyyyyy to high for 12s for bashing.............drag hits or maybe a speed run but definitely not bashing👌👊💯tires definitely won't hold with 50volts either lol
