That is absolutely right to point out the fact that israel did not start this war and is being asked to put its soldiers directly in harms way by going door to door in an attempt to spare civilian lives, is anyone talking about the morality of that, idf soldiers have loved ones too, and to ask them to stop a war when the objective has not been achieved after losing so many of their own soldiers is counter productive.

If Israel wants to reduce casualties of it's ground troops then perhaps they need to expand their own drone warfare division. Drones are relatively cheap and can be used to target human threats or missile batteries.

I think this analysis is a bit unfair...for a Palestinian who is against Hamas, what kind of power do they have...they are just going to get nailed...as well, once you are fighting a common enemy it would get quite complicated not to side with your own people....overall yes, this is perhaps not the time to deradicalize but your argument of how do they identify themselves is totally unrealistic.
