Lithium Taper Update : Day 26

I can't believe I've got this far already. Time flies by when you're lithium carbonate tapering. No mania so far. Amazing news. I'm just going to take this moment to - pat myself on the back. For so many years I couldn't work out how I could taper with the pills I was on. Finally with the help of my subscribers I'm succeeding. I can't thank you guys enough. I get a bit complicated with figures in this video. If you want any clarification please do ask! My brain isn't working as it normally does...

I take half the lithium prescribed by my dr as well (300 instead of 600) and for the past week I've gone down to 150 mg. I feel ok so far. Good luck on your taper!

So you jumped from 300 to 150?

I’ve been tapering from 400 to 200 over the last 8 months. My pharmacist said to reduce by alternating and taking 300 one night then 200 the next etc to make small increments of 5-8% each reduction. Does that sound like a good plan?
