Lived my childhood in Felton Tim, the bypass was built during that time, haulage company Pentleton & hare was based there they ran rigid flatbeds with dolly drag trailers roped & sheeted daily to ireland,i used to watch them reversing in the yard to perfection,sadly all gone & now houses but some truck pics online, we have some great scenery up here in Northumberland! Keep up the great work👍🏻👍🏻

For T-cabs theres the Vlastuin in Holland company that has the license for T-cabs and makes them.

Lucky enough to drive that route every 2 to 3 weeks from Guisborough to Aberdeen. Some lovely coastal views on that section of the a1.

hey tim just watched and as you said you were passing through newcastle it took me back to that on video when you went to gateshead with data shredders and i remembered when you asked about the road works on the a1. my brother works on there at them road works sometimes and the road works are because they are apparently widening the road up. hope i answered the question for you if it hasn’t already been answered. love the vid mate keep up the good work 👍👍

Scotland is an absolute hot bed for proper Scania trucks. Where I stay in Aberdeen it’s just V8 central with the oil and gas load gravy train.

Just a thought, how cool would it be if you used your R??? Purely for Scotland runs, then used the FHV8 for everything else? You’ve already got Scottish colours, and a fresh blue paint job on the king wouldn’t go a miss, would look top!

I got caught speeding there past Morpeth,43 mph when HGV's were limited to 40 on single track,at 2:30 am nothing on the road.
In terms of underglow, I’d say if you’re in daylight, on concrete or in the unit, blue, if it’s night, use white on tarmac, concrete or asphalt. That’s what I say personally :)
