Nightforce and the Thunderbeast were to hard and expensive to source here in NZ, regards from the Deep South...
Nice setup I have one in 338 and also have a Cadex Defense Patriot 33 338 lapua and if don’t take both to the range I feel guilty. You set up your rifle exactly like X rings to the last detail that must make him feel pretty good I enjoy yours and his videos keep it coming

Another absolutely beautiful gun! I am a bit surprised the bolt isn't a bit more refined. A very common upgrade in the precision world. Loving that stock!
These are made at Portsmouth in the uk in an unassuming building you’d walk past and not realise,just a short ferry ride from where I live,would love a tour
Hahaha. . . I happened to buy one of these as well. Something to look at . . . check your optics/action rail. Mine was out of spec (and I flew to Denver and checked a bunch at Mile High and all of their AX platforms were out of spec as well (ATs were fine for some reason). AI is machining some new ones, so it may be worth checking yours out. For a quick check, compare the action rail to the handguard rail and see if you can see a difference in "width" or "thickness". ETA: I ordered an AI 6.5 barrel, but it had to go back because it wouldn't shoot better than about .7 MOA. The .308 Barrel it came with is fine, though. I kept my Sako TRG 42, but sold my TRG 22 - boy was that ever a mistake. Except for the modularity (and magazine cost), Sako wipes the floor with AI. Further ETA: GO IRISH! Even further to add (I should watch the video before commenting), I also purchased the AREA 419 brake/Silencer adapter. Cool piece of gear, but make sure you take a strap wrench with you to the range - mine seized up on me and I actually had to use channel locks to get it off.
Xring will make you go broke...LOL...One sweet rifle as can't wait to see the range footage as have a good time running her at the range....Good stuff...

I only know about this AI. none of the receiver or rail is plastic, just the gip in front of the magwell and the pistol grip
