He wrote music which is smooth and very pleasant to the ear and for relaxation and to contemplate to. Really wonderful to know about him and listen to him. I am getting the CDs. Absolutely, great.
Not the first famous Black man, not at all! You had philosophers before, warriors, queens, etc. candace queen who defeated julius caesar, the roman emperor in Africa and prevented it from extending southwards in Africa, Mansa musa the richest man ever, emperor of Mali, Ahmed Baba of Timbukti in Mali, Ramses, Hannibal, etc...
well there's one coming out soon, 'Chevalier'. I don't know how historically accurate it will be or not but they're not hiding the fact that his mother was a slave, that he was a skilled violinist, composer and fencer and that he sided with the revolutionaries, so hopefully it's be accurate and won't demean his memory too much. If nothing else, it may make more people aware of him and hopefully will inspire them to look him up as the trailer inspired me so that his impact and accomplishments will be more well known.
Mozart sounds so much like Johann Christian Bach and nobody called him the Bach from Salzburg. Chevalier de Saint George wrote music in the classical style as many composers from the XIX century.
I would argue that some of Mozart's later works sound so much like his, but most aren't ready for that conversation. Maybe we'll give it another century or so for technology to really give us the truth.

The first famous black man, period. Good that there's no "bio-pic" out there to demean his memory.

Actually Mozart should be called the 'White Saint-Georges'. Saint-Georges influenced Mozart and not the other way around.
