Thank you so much for sharing this and doing the work! This answers my question about whether we are allowed to do some light pruning to help clear the trail a little or not. I always wondered in national forest and BLM land if only the park rangers are allowed to alter vegetation or people with good sense can occasionally clear the path by pruning away low hanging branches or branches grown too far into the trail. I think I will start carrying my Silky BigBoy and pruner with us on trail rides now.
I think the answer is to ask a Forest Ranger, however I'm not chopping down trees and simply improving on their road system, so I see it as a calculated risk, lol.
Thank you for doing that. I visit that area often but I'm not familiar with those trails. Are you able to share links to maps for those or other trails in the area? I visit often. And I just applied to join the Sierra Vista Jeeps group although I drive a GX470.
