Quit Banging Your Hard Parts Offroad // Low Hanging Fruit
Nothing sounds worse than banging or dragging metal across rocks. A key fundamental point is to know where your low spots are under your vehicle, or as I like to call it "Low Hanging Fruit." As an offroad driver, you need to know where your low hanging fruit is, specifically as it relates to where you are seated in the vehicle. Come long as we demonstrate how to locate your low spots and tips on how to avoid the dreaded noises and / or damage to your undercarriage.

Airing Down
Переглядів 78Рік тому
If you are new to the off-road lifestyle, you might have seen people letting the air out of their tires at the trail head. Why in the world are they doing that? Watch this video to get the scoop.
Recovery Gear Ratings

What is rated recovery gear? Why do you care? Come along as I give my thoughts on what all this is and why it's important.
Where's Your Toe
Переглядів 68Рік тому
Jeep Wrangler issues...death wobble, speed related wobbles, etc. Have you checked your toe in, or out? I checked mine because of a speed related wobble. I was 1/4" toe in, way too much, and it showed in tire wear and, as it turns out, a wobble. I don't show it in this video, but my tires were wearing more on the outside than the inside indicating an improper toe issue. Tires should wear in an e...
Resistance can cause a fire!

My batteries died! Fortunately it was in my driveway. Through the replacement process I noticed that the fuse holders going to my ARB twin air compressor were totally fried! I'm not even sure how it was still working. Who knows how many more times it would have taken for this to be a fire! This is a serious issue that demanded immediate attention. Luckily, I had a set of Redarc fuse holders at ...
Roadrunner Gets A Drone
Переглядів 1192 роки тому
That's right, we got us a drone. Ever since we started this adventuring channel, I have wanted a drone to kick up the content. I drool over the footage I see on other channels. I finally bit the bullet and bought a used DJI Mini 2 off of Facebook Marketplace. This video chronicles my first ever flight of a drone, the use of 4K video as well as some color grading. I have a lot of work to do to g...
Fire pit review
Переглядів 1,6 тис.2 роки тому
We purchased and tried out the Camco Big Red Campfire. Here in Arizona it isn't uncommon to have fire restrictions due to the ongoing drought. Even though we are in the middle of a legit monsoon season and fire restrictions are temporarily lifted, we decided that having a sure bet campfire solution was warranted. We carry two 20# propane bottles on the camper anyway, so a propane fueled fire pi...
Winch Class

Roadrunner Adventure gives a winch class! It's a long video, don't give up on it too soon, there is a ton of information passed out. We setup camp in Sycamore Canyon in the Huachuca Mountains and invited people from Sierra Vista Jeeps to come out and learn about the proper use of a winch in recovery, as well as some other recovery gear.
Trail Maintenance // It's important // San Rafael Valley // Huachuca Mtns
Переглядів 1152 роки тому
Why bother with trail maintenance on public trails? Because it's a privilege dummy. Trails are closed on a consistent basis for stupid things. If litter is the reason, then shame on the humans that do it. Off my soap box, I feel that for a positive experience, the least I can do is to go to the trails that I frequent and do a little landscaping, trimming back the brush a little to give a more p...
Broken Arrow Trail // Sedona, AZ

What images come to mind when I say Sedona? Towering red rocks, quirky town, maybe all the Pink Jeeps running around? Say Sedona to an off-roader and they are likely to say Broken Arrow. It is the destination trail that everybody wants to experience at least once. Come with us as we take our Jeep on Broken Arrow Trail.

This adventure takes us to Grant County, New Mexico. We were privileged enough to have a personal tour by the owner of the Jim Crow mine. He was a wealth of information about geology and mining, and he had plenty of colorful stories about the history of the mines. He doesn't own the Carlisle Mine, but his friend does so he was gracious enough to share that with us too. As a rock nerd, I could h...

We decided to head out to Chiva Falls. One of the better known obstacles on the way there is called Three Feathers. It has 3 different lines each with it's own degree of difficulty. We opted for the right line. This video shows my buddy Louie #sinclair.jl18 putting in the work. This was his first time on this trail and he's still relatively new to offroading and is still a little apprehensive, ...

Garner Canyon is located in the Santa Rita Mountains, just north of Sonoita, AZ. Our adventure takes us through some very scenic foothills and up into the Santa Rita's to Aliso Spring, where we took lunch. On the way out, we back tracked some and found ourselves on a legit Jeep Trail. That trail always impresses, even though it's not very long. That said, you could do it both directions and fol...

I would trust Billy breakenridge and day over Wyatt Earp. He said honorable people believe Wyatt killed nobody at iron springs least if all curly bill. A man with the last name of Arnold said curly bill was at the time in Mexico and there was only 4 men at the springs. They traded shots with Wyatt Earp neither side scoring a hit. It was said that curly bill heard about his death at the hands of Wyatt Earp 9 yrs later . Wyatt Earp killed Florentine Cruz s horse holder and Frank stillwell. Pete Spence's Mexican wife said the men responsible planning and all the leaders were Pete spence, co captain Hank swilling, a half creed, a German named bode and 2 other halfbreeds besides swilling. Conspicuous by his absence is no mention of stillwell whom the wife knew well. One more thing and Wyatt's biased account against stillwell. From tombstone to Tucson is 75 miles Morgan Earp was murdered shortly before midnight and stillwell was known to be intuscon before 6 he quite realistically did not have time. He seems entitled to that which basically exonerates him in Morgan's murder. He even had business in tombstone and some unbiased people said he was in Tucson on the night of the murder

those green bushes are mesquite, non-native water suckers, pull those and the springs start again, those hills are probably on a quartz slab that angles the water underground to the low point and probably some kind of other quarts barrier to force the water up, the mesquite roots soak up water that should run underground to the spring start point
