Dear Tracy, Please consider doing more videos every week as I am getting severe withdrawals in between. Thank you in advance for the consideration. Selfishly yours, Chris ❤😂😘😁
Oh Chris I wish I could but as I do everything myself without help (making videos and running the property) it’s just impossible right now! Great to hear you are enjoying the channel though😄
@@RuralRefurb that’s no excuse. lol!, I’m totally kidding. I get it!!!! I just didn’t know how else to express how much I love your content ❤️. Grateful for you just the way you’re doing it. Because you are really doing it!! Have a wonderful day, Tracy!

I’m not a gardener though I appreciate the gardens of others. It didn’t matter that I am not a gardener, I would watch whatever content you post just to hear your cheery, witty voiceovers as they make me smile. The fact that you have a delightful British accent is the icing on the cake. 😁
Greetings from Dallas, Texas 🇺🇸 where our accents are cringeworthy. 🤪
Oh Rebekah how kind! Delighted you are enjoying the channel lovely!🤗♥️

Thank You Tracey for sharing. I love your pink Hydrangea trees at the beginning and the large wreath you put on your door. You are an inspiration. I needed help with my Hydrangea bush. It's tall big and wide...lol (About 3 feet it looks like) I have Roses, Azaleas, Tulips and Camelias...Other flowers I can't even name. The lady that lived here before had a green thumb and fortunately they bloom every year and are so pretty.🥰💖

Hi Tracy, Lynn from Dodge City, KS, USA. So happy you are willing to share your tips you use with your hydrangeas, mine I lose them every year so quit trying. This has encouraged me to scavage around my few optional greenhouses to find one this late in the season and give your methods a try. Have a great week.
Hi Lynn!🙌🏼Hope you have better luck this time!🤞🏼🌸
Great information! I feel like I can start my own new plants without spending more money! Love your channel. You are a lovely person!
Thanks so much! 😊 Good luck with the cuttings, you can do it!!🌸
I always enjoy your videos thank you for sharing
Glad you like them Sherry!😊
I have Annabelle’s. The bush is 40 years old and 8 feet across. Too big i think but I love getting flowers from it. Thanks for All the good tips.
Oooh that sounds very productive!🌸🌸🌸
Wow Tracy, your Hydrangeas are so beautiful, I have three and two of them didn't bloom this summer, so I guess I pruned them wrong😒 happy you did this video, maybe I will do better next year! I would love to try cutting the stems to make new plants, but I don't know if they would survive the winter here in Illinois, it gets pretty cold and windy here, any tips?
Keep in a greenhouse or indoors somewhere light and cool, away from heat and draughts maybe?🌸
Tracy, yet another thing we have in common; our love of hydrangeas! Thank you for sharing your beautiful specimens. I love your comment at the end of the video regarding 'civic pruning'❤.
Until our next visit, happy creative decorating and gracious gardening!
Hi Tracey I have the limelight’s and you are correct not fussy and very easy to propagate. 😊
So true and such a beautiful cone shaped bloom!😊🌸
I love hydrangeas too and have quite a few, we have two stunning white ones in our courtyard which slowly turn a pale pink on the ends, the blooms are long as appose to the round blooms, très jolie as they say here in France 🥰
Ooooh they sound like a type of paniculata Julie?? Do you cut them down each February? 🌸
@@RuralRefurb I prune them back a little but not right the way down 😊
And yes they are a paniculata 👍
The wreath is so beautiful, love it. Always look forward to your videos, so much needed information for me to use. This year my Mophead Hydrangea didn't get but two flowers. So disappointed, beautiful greenery though. Thank you... Michigan, USA
Ah were you snipping last year Connie??🌸😊🌸
I have learned so very much from this video. I’ve never seen this before and will definitely be getting starts from my friends. Thank you for sharing this with us ❤️❤️❤️
Glad it was helpful!😊

Very interesting. I love many hydrangeas in my British Columbia garden.
I love how you mentioned civic pruning , I do a little of that every fall since I don’t have a lawn. Thank you for all the great info. Next spring I’m going to place some in containers on the deck.
Ooooh that sounds lovely!🌸
Hi Tracy I’m watching you from NJ, USA. I have to say that your video never disappoints, always loaded with great ideas that don’t need purchasing from the store.
Thank you so much! I’ll always try to save money! 😊
Get a local welder to make cages for you….maybe a high school that teaches shop…that will save you money…hugs carolyn from Columbus Georgia…..I really love to hear you talk….you are so precious and so pretty!……you must not have any dear around….they devour our plants here!

Dear Tracy, When I saw your title hydrangeas, I was so excited! I absolutely love those flowers! At this time, I only have one because I was just starting out! It has bloomed for me once in this spring ! I currently have it in a pot! Yes, I did read that the lime colored ones are much more forgiving to those of us who are beginners! Thank you, and btw, your hydrangeas are gorgeous! Thank you!
Time to try a few cuttings to see if you can increase your numbers!🌸
I will DEFINITELY be making some new hydrangeas!! This was so helpful. Thank you Tracey!!

I have threee hydrangeas that have never bloomed. The bush part is very green and healthy but they just don’t bloom. Yours are just beautiful.
The info you shared on taking cuttings is so helpful!! I’m in Ontario, canada, and the winters are very cold. -25c I presume I’d need to take this cuttings in pots and bring them in inside?
I love all your content. Your house is the best!! I love how everything you do is LARGE! I wish I had the room size and ceiling height for large. And I love your white and mostly pale neutrals. Gorgeous!! Another Tracey 🇨🇦

Oh Tracey, another brilliant video! I must say, hydrangeas are by far my favorites! Yours are absolutely gorgeous in your garden! I absolutely love all of the blooms you’ve dried! They are stunning!
My mother had a green thumb as you do when it came to her hydrangeas. She always had them in little pots rooting them, doing exactly as you demonstrated. I, on the other hand, can’t grow them to save my soul! 😂
I just love your energy, style and decor! Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home with us!
I hope you have a blessed week! 💖
Oh I’m sure you must have inherited your mother’s green thumb! They are very easy to grow, give it a go! 😀🌸

Oh what a sight that must have been, all those hydrangeas! I’m delighted you are enjoying the channel, thank you lovely 🥰🥰
Thank you for the lovely video.
Your ideas are marvelous. Living in Florida I am unable to grow them but I buy them at florist.
Your ideas for drying is helpful
I usually place antique variety and put in a little water. I also clear spray
After to keep them from shedding. I will try the spraying for fall colors.
😊
Is it just too hot to grow them in Florida? Hopefully they are not too expensive to buy from your florists there as they are in England 🌸
@@RuralRefurb yes the weather is too hot. They cost about $2-3 each.
Tracey thank you so much for all the tips on the hydrangeas 😊❤Hydrangeas and peonies army favorites your hydrangeas are beautiful ❤❤❤❤❤
Wonderful choices! I’ve not grown peonies yet… may be my new addiction 😀🌸
I’ve never had much luck with hydrangeas maybe the soil.I love them as well and your wreath is stunning 😍 ❤🦘
Maybe try them in pots then you can control the soil conditions 😊
I live in the states and cannot get enough of the hydrangeas. I have the Peegee type. They dry and propagate well here in the upper midwest. The plant that keeps on giving. Love this video. Thank you.
Ooooh never heard of Peegee! Will have to have a google😄🌸
Oh my word... I have definite hydrangea envy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yours are amazing. I struggle here in my California garden. But I may get me some Miracle Grow and also try the rooting hormone. My favorite ones are the dried fall burnt oranges and taupes and wines. The door wreath was breathtaking!!!!
Hi Liane!🙌🏼Ah yes it must be so hot there. I think there are new varieties now that can be grown indoors so may be worth checking out 😊🌸
I think I need a pink hydrangea. Have blue, white, and lime, but no pink! And I took a few blue and white cuttings ❤.
That was really helpful thank you.

Hello and welcome to the channel Maureen! 🙌🏼🤗
Thank you so much for the video. Me favorite flower is Hydrangeas I use them throughout my home.
Yaay!!🌸🌸🌸
I have 3 bushes in front of my home, same soil. And 2 were pink, 1 blue, and now they all have pink, blue and lilac blooms on them..
I also have one, in a different area of my property that is a very deep purple color
..I have 2 others that are huge and one is a moonlight hydrangea and the other is called wine and roses, plus I have a lot of oak hydrangea and the blooms are huge and start green, then white, then a soft claret color...one of the odd balls I have is called pearl hydrangea, it climbs up trees, etc, and this get clusters of a pearl like flowers that actually glow in moonlight...love your work and tips...thanks for sharing
What a wonderful collection you have!🌸
Loving the hydrangea. My Annabels aren’t too bad in being too floppy.

Such a lovely video!! Thankyou! I'm inspired to give my hydrangeas in pots some more TLC and maybe move them around a bit more this week! ❤
Go for it! I find using different heights with boxes, benches etc really helps🌸
So beautiful I love hydrangeas. Mine are full this year ❤. But I do have some that have not bloomed in years. Not sure what’s going on with those. 😢
Love the hydrangeas!!! Beautifully displayed in your home!
Love your channel and your home, yard is to so beautiful. I live in MN. So how would I keep the young plants over winter ? In the house ? I have a large mop head plant too. I am amazed at how big the blooms get. I have a decorating idea, I did for my son’s 40th birthday party. We did cheers to beers theme. I use large beer mugs or steins added some gold tissue paper in mug and add a large flower head for the foam of the beer. Was really cute, cheap decor for a party. Thanks for the information on hydrangeas.
In a greenhouse or a cool light area of your home 😊
I learned a lot from you this week, my hydrangeas have done really well this year, obviously loving the British weather 🤦♀️x
Wet and cool😂
Beautiful thank you for sharing this video❤
Glad you enjoyed it!😊🌸
Your hydrangeas are beautiful. Thanks for sharing 💕

Buy them from florist. Not expensive
They are in the UK! 🌸
Hello I'm from Alabama love watching your videos look forward to them😊
Hello!🙌🏼Thanks for watching!♥️
*Lovely Tracey: I enjoyed this video so very much❣️ Honestly, I have NEVER SEEN SO MANY GLORIOUS HYDRANGEAS IN ONE PLACE‼️🤍💜💙💕🙉😳🤯*
*I am GOBSMACKED❣️💜💙🤍💚💕*
*THANK YOU so very much for your tips and tricks...I am not sure if the growing tips will work here in Minnesota, USA because our winters are so COLD 🥶...BUT there are a lot of Limelight Hydrangeas growing here locally, so I need to check with a reputable nursery for suggestions about the best variety for our Zone, and whether or not there are any hydrangea varieties that can survive in pots on a deck or patio with our -25° below zero Fahrenheit winters‼️😳🤪💕*
*I L💜VED LEARNING ABOUT YOUR DRYING METHODS, and your HUGE WREATHS and Christmas bannister decor are STUPENDOUS❣️😉💚💕 Love and Hugs to you and Bertie❣️ XOXOXO 💜💙💚🤍💕*
That sounds like a plan Leslie! Always best to get local advice😀🌸
@@RuralRefurb*Have a beautiful day. Tracey; thanks for the reply! 💜*
