The lamps turned out wonderfully! We had a golden named Beckett who could smell a tennis ball a mile away. Bertie does deserve at least 30 of them as he is quite a fabulous supervisor. ♥
I can only imagine the reaction of the person who donated those lamps. They’re probably wishing they kept them and watched your videos on how to restyle them so beautifully! Bertie is a treasure 🥰
Your technique I used on a plaster figurine I found at a shop marked down for 2 dollars because it had been glued back together it's a large size and after watching your video, I wanted to try a makeover on it I had some drywall plaster leftover from a project, anyway it turned out really nice, I think so ! Keep up the great work you do . Love your videos !
You are a genius in uniqueness! Herbs use for a natural look...just genius! I love the light bulbs from Amazon! Didn't know such things exists. Bertie is a such a cool and sweet dog! Enjoyed the video!
I love your faux technique, and YES I have tried, and I feel it was a success ❤ I was a bit heavy with the joint compound, so lesson learned, but on the other hand, I had good luck with the coffee, cinnamon, and herbs, I am excited with the result, and am ready to do more! I did start small, a pitcher, but next time, I’m going bigger❤
The addition of the soil, spices and herbs really bring the organic texture to life and looks so much more natural than paint. I'm excited to try this technique on a large decorative bowl and a candelabra that just don't suit my style. Thanks for the great inspo!
❤SO FUN TO WATCH YOU WORK AT YOUR HOME OF TRANSFORMATION OF THE LAMPS AND THE CROCK. BUT THE GRAND REWARD IS YOUR FUR BABY "BERTIE" RECEIVING THE TENNIS BALLS.❤ SEE YOU NEXT TIME.😊
Today’s projects are amazing! I plan on trying this technique as my next design project. I have already wrapped all my lamp cords (flex as all of you across the pond call it) what a brilliant idea! Everyone has committed on them, I have directed them to your channel. Bertie is as adorable as usual, still think he’s waiting on a call from the talent scouts!!😂
The lamps turned out beautifully you do an amazing job of making items beautiful again of course having a wonderful supervisor like Bertie helps😊I look forward to your vlogs and your wonderful ideas
I bought a charity ceramic lamp and did this technique using coffee and cinnamon, and then I wrapped the lampshade. All I mist still do is wrap the electric cord. And I love it. I have done pots previously using sand, before finding you, but I love all your choices
Dare I say there is only one thing that I liked more than watching TRACY transform 2 ho-hum lamps from the thrift, to 2 stylish, unique, high-end style lamps... that was watching Bertie strike a cheeky pose at the beginning and seeing him happily jumping after a box full of tennis balls. I am on the lookout for a piece to transform using TRACY'S unique concoction of joint compound, dirt and herbs. Seriously, this beyond creative lady needs a TV segment on morning TV! Thank you TRACY!
I live in the USA. I have a flower pot that needs this technique!! Can’t wait to try it. Thanks so much for sharing your talents. Side note: I have had a pen pal in Liverpool for over 45 years. We finally met last year in person. We had a great time.
Thanks for sharing another wonderful and inspiring video. Berties photo shoots were so adorable ❤❤❤ love ❤️ love how the lights turned out and the bulbs 💡 💡 wow And Bertie is so athletic jumping up for the new tennis balls 😅

Love the Lamps. As always, I love your sweet voice and calming directions. You are one of a Kind, just like your home. It would be fun to see you gather different natural materials and tree parts from your vast property and show us many ways to style the outdoor bits in various ways. I would love to see you walk through your property and point out the names of the trees and shrubs. Kind of a walkabout. I also just love to hear your sweet voice and anything you have on your channel, brings happiness on a Sunday Morning. Thanks for being you and sharing your unique ideas to all of us!! 🥰😇
As an American, I am loving your accent ❤. More than that, I love your delivery! Your work is unique and beautiful, and your directions are clear and easy to follow. Keep them coming 😊.
Tracy, another wonderful, fabulous diy! Oh my goodness! Amazing results! 😊 I absolutely love the lamps, and I want to get on the ball and do something similar! Thank you! I agree, I don't like being a carbon copy of others either, I want my own decorating ideas and personality to shine through!
Those lamps are so high end .the tec you used is just wonderful what a pleasure to watch you redo those lamps love them and you sweet helper is such a wonderful fur baby.
Hi Tracey! I so enjoyed the lamp make-overs, however, I loved watching Bertie more with not one but 30 tennis balls. He loves attention from you and he is such a sweetheart. ❣ Happy Valentines Day this week. More to come and can't wait ~
My home is decorated with Italian Antiques but love how your home looks and love the stone look you give to your projects! It would be lovely to visit you and craft with you.❤
Those bulbs are so neat.....I hope to try the texture technique as soon as the weather warms....I love the flex wrapping....I am the only one in my circle of friends to do this....but I love it.....thanks to you.
Hahah!!! Bertie's treat was tennis balls!! I love it!!! I've collected a couple of odd pieces from around my house and garage which were being used as garden pots and I plan to practice your joint compound technique on them as soon as I'm able to ( been going through a clinical trial which demands a lot of my energy) but I WILL be doing that technique. Thanks Tracy!!! Happy Sunday from sunny and warm FL. ☀
Those lamps are so gorgeous and especially so with the light bulbs! I love your posts, and your taste in furnishings is so high-end without spending a fortune!

WOW!!! I just absolutely love watching that process of making those lamps into one of a kind outstanding beauties......and not to mention those amazing light bulbs. That's it I have decided I am going to go to my thrift store and find an old lamp and try to what you just did. 😊 I so much how you walked us through that process....you are a very good teacher besides being such an amazing decorating genius! 🥰
The lamps looks fabulous Tracy and yes I have used your stone technics,I did glass candle sticks, a vase ,and little pots ,I did two glass oval shaped bottles,I love it my home looks so stylish with it , Bertie is so happy he loves watching you work thank you Tracy ❤😊
Berties poses had me literally laughing out loud! I love these lamps, although I have nothing stone like in my home. But, I was thinking I could make one for the outdoor covered patio, add some dried moss at the base to give it that garden feel. And I can actually add a solar light top to the light bulb section with a simple shade to disguise it. I love all the inspiration, Yes those light bulbs are amazing!!!!! I definitely need some of those. Have a happy day. BTW... I love all your beautiful vests. They look so classy on you.
Hello Liane!🤗Hope you have had a lovely week. If you plan on doing a pot for outside you may be better using my outdoor technique as this one today is not weatherproof. All the details are in my ‘plastic to stone’ video lovely 😊🤗🥰
I was going to look up your video on your stone technique because i have a few vases i want to diy, so this video is perfect timing 😉 I love and appreciate all your tips and tricks, and most definitely look forward to your video's every week. Thanks for sharing Tracey ❤❤ Burtie couldn't be more handsome, give him a cuddle for me 😉🐶💙
Wow I absolutely love watching you transform thrifted items with the stone technique. I haven't tried it yet, but I've been looking at thrift shops for just the right lamp. I have never seen lightbulbs like those. So pretty. The crock is absolutely beautiful too. Love your videos and inspiration. Love the cute pics of your dog😍🥰
I love your makeovers and in particular the stone technique, I tried it on an old pink glass vase that I had put in the garden 3 years ago because it didnt match anymore. It looks lovely now and is sitting in pride of place in my garden room. My sister thought it was an antique roman vase. 😂 I used to makeover furniture years ago, I'm always making things out of bits of wood for the garden. I can't wait until I can try the outdoor stone effect on some of my old planters. Since watching your channel, I've got the bug again. Happy days 😊
The lamps look amazing! Love the Crock too. I really love the gorgeous bulbs, such beautiful ambiance, very unique..i have a couple lamps they would look beautiful in. So thanks for the link😉 Its always a joy and a treat watching your videos, whether its DIY's or decorating or shopping..i love them all! So thanks for sharing😊
Oh my gosh. Thursday I was at a Ladies Bibe, sewing meeting. Of course, I was talking about your post. Making the stone lamps and how you remake your electric cords. They were asking how you do the cords, I didn't know🤷♀ This was the perfect all in one video. Snaping pictures so they can find this post. Thank you... Hugs to Supervisor Bertie 🥰
I've been looking forward to your Video all week, ever since you mentioned your technique would be Star 🌟 The Star Pieces of your Home!! I'm so in Love 🤍 I've been using the wrong products all along, attempting this Look! Now, I know exactly what to do! Thank YOU for Sharing your Home, Treasures young & old while curating your Own Style 🤎🤍🤎
Brilliant from start to finish! When I find the right piece I intend to try this technique: I’ve done the chalk paint/baking soda method which has the look of faux concrete and that’s fun, but this stone look would be even more interactive! I think I’ll go with lots of cinnamon! It was awesome to see Bertie with his very own collection :) 💕
I look forward to Sundays to see what you have for us. Your style is so unique. I think I want to try your technique on some Terra cotta pots and I'll use more of the herbs and cinnamon shades since that will go better with my home colors.
I Love watching how you bring things to life. Your style is so clean and fresh. Not to mention beautiful. Those bulbs are perfect, a beautiful touch. Burty is so precious as all fur babies are to me. We have 2 wonderful G. S, and a sweet precious Shih Tzu Maltese fur baby. Love how the pot turned out and how you displayed it! ❤
Those lamps you did were absolutely gorgeous, and I'm really wanting to try this technique of yours with the soil, herb's, curry etc to get the achievable look. Then right at the end, when your fur baby got his present, all those balls, oh bless him, was lovely, I have two of my own, and adore them too. 🥰🐾🐾❄️
