Ep039: How to paint Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka...Prophet of Gork and Mork!

I paint the Prophet of Gork and Mork, Ghazghkull Thraka. This was a fun model to build and paint and I have been a huge fan of Ghaz since 2nd ed when I first started my Ork army. Enjoy!

Hey man, Looks great I just got into warhammer any advice on ork skin? I have been using waaagh flesh and it feels too dark.

Yeah Waaagh flesh is pretty dark. I like using Elysian Green as a base and then do a wash with some thinned ork flesh contrast. This will give you a nice Green Gold base tone with some darker green shade. You can also use something like Plague Bearers Flesh contrast as the base color too(basically just Elysian Green as a contrast color). Try this out and see what you think.
