The Dick & Damien duo was a really great run. It helped humanize Damien & Dick finally ascended to the role of Batman. Their relationship was great, it was essentially role reversals & they acted more like brothers.
Dick in my opinion is best on his own (as Nightwing, Batman or a secret agent). Jason is at his best when he is a villain/anti-hero mostly opposing the Family. While the Father-Son relationship between Bruce and Damian is good, Damian should be Dick's Robin. Tim is the best Robin, the best partner for Bruce. Although I do admint the Red Robin solo series is excellent.

It took me 22 minutes to realize the flashing lights is their audio when talking... I thought it was just annoying in the beginning... Also, I feel like this was brought up once before, but I think Young Justice has done some interesting stuff with all the sidekicks across the DC universe (although I stopped watching halfway through season 3). What are your thoughts?
Can’t recommend young justice enough, some of the ‘comedy’ falls pretty flat since it’s aimed at a young audience, however it is still very accessible for adults and I love the big team dynamics.
@@Drawnartist it was bad. Really bad. Forced diversity and a lackluster story. It was all over the place and hard to follow. If season 4 isnt better i dont see it continuing after that

Whatever, he is saved by Batman, Jarro idolize Batman, Jarro calls Batman "dad", Jarro stands on Batman's shoulder on many panels, Jarro dons a Robin costume, Jarro does something that makes Batman call him his favorite Robin EVER (yep, not kidding).

So a funny thing with the joke about John Blake fighting crime as Robin....they've basically done that now because Tim Drake's new hero name is "Drake"
I think Tim is a better detective than batman because he found a hole in Bruce's identity that Bruce didn't think to cover up? I don't know I like the idea of tim being smarter than him
As a kid I always loved Robin but could never find a comic with him in it and then when I finally did he and Batman break into Poison Ivy's where a cupboard falls on his foot and he has to go home.
Before he redesigned his outfit to get back to his roots (but still cooler, not all the way back to the swim-suit britches and elfin booties), Earth-Two Robin developed an absolute eyesore of a costume that tried to mix elements from his old outfit and that of his retired mentor. And by that, I mean "he took Batman's PJs and put a yellow cape on it." With a scalloped frill. And a small red circle with an "R" sprouting batwings on the center of the chest. And a kind-of-bat-shaped domino mask. Oh lord it was terrible.
I was hoping you guys would talk about the robins involvements in Batman Beyond a little. They tried to make Tim Drake Batman Beyond and everyone hated it so they changed it back to Terry McGuinness. Damian Wayne instead becomes the new head of the League of Shadows and tests Terry to make sure he’s worthy of the Batman mantle
I think the idea that Batman is meant to be ultra grim and dark is a really a modern interpretation, because even back in the forties, Batman had his ups and downs in darkness and his pulp hero roots, back in The Golden Age, so Robin, who was essentially a vessel for the kid readers to feel like they could be in the story and assist Batman themselves, wasn’t so out of the ordinary. Then came The Silver Age in the 50s, where everything was wacky and colourful, not unlike the 1960s Batman series with Adam West, so Robin must have been right at home. In fact, this was the first real Bat-Family, where there was: Batgirl, Batwoman, Ace the Bat-Hound, Bat-Mite, which were basically ploys to keep people interested because the storylines took a major down in quality after the Comics Code Authority and Frederick Wertham’s book in which he alleged Batman and Robin must be Gay (big no no in the fifties). TL;DR Batman was ridiculous in the ‘50s.

Ok guys, I need you to do one of these on the history of Batgirl now lol, thanks
Lmao. What issue?
@@expendableindigo9639 I have no idea tbh, I got rid of my comics ages ago.
TL;DR Batman was ridiculous in the ‘50s.
only true robins remember the OG thumbnail
Bet you think you’re so clever syncing up the light with the microphone don’t you?
And you’re right that was pleasing
Considering how Dick Grayson used to be portrayed I unironically loved All Star Dick Grayson beating Green Lantern within an inch of his life
