You’ve unlocked so many wonderful childhood memories with this video. Take me back! Even the memories of “playing” with toys from the Argos catalogue that I never did get my hands on but dreamt about receiving - value itself.
Have a good Christmas!
Christmas 1998 toys r us catalog had the clear Gameboy color and Pokémon red version. I tore that page out and threw the rest away so she and my dad couldn’t confuse what I wanted.
In Germany we had a couple of these catalogs too, Quelle being the most important. There were two editions, but only the one for the autumn/winter season had a huge toys section. In my childhood days in the 70s I read those things to pieces. Also important was the one issue of the weekly Micky Maus (Mickey Mouse) magazine which had a small (40 pages or so) supplement with specially curated suggestions for Christmas gifts. And a paper advent calendar! Good times …
This was such a blast from the past. God I miss being a kid in the 90's.
Ah the TV remote watches. I remember kids in my year bringing them in to school and changing the volume/channel or pressing mute when we were meant to be watching an educational video. At first the teachers had no idea what was happening and thought our sniggering was just at their ineptitude with technology, hilarious :)
My gosh this video is nostalgia personified. Thankyou
My first Morpher bought since MMPR was the lightspeed rescue morpher through the Argos Catalogue. Ah good times.
hope you have a merry jolly Christmas
I went through Argos and Index catalogues looking through for christmas presents
Nice to see you back again with another upload. Also happy holidays!
This was so much fun to watch!

I moved from the UK a few years back to be with my Wife in the US, Christmas time really brings out the culture differences with my new extended family. and this video really adds to that. Circling the latest Megazord year after year. And I was one of the lucky few to get the thundbirds tracy island that year, there's even greyscale video footage of me getting it. The food and traditions here are so different to back home so it's nice for this video to be able to give me that nostalgia, Happy Christmas!
