Healthy saquon when, emphasize WHEN he gets blocking is the best in the league. The giants o line has been rated last for 4 straight years. 1800 yards with the 31st rated line?

Hurst is a decent player, he's just not a TE1. Atl replaced him as well. He reminds a bit of Jesse James, solid fundamentals, good blocking, but doesn't command a lot of respect as a receiver. He could still have a long career. I think he's on Cincy now? Doubt he gets much time if CJ is healthy.

I mean, Josh Allen only led the Bills to 3 straight playoff berths, 2 straight division titles, 3 playoff wins, an AFC Championship appearance, and had the highest passer rating in a single postseason. That's all he's done.
Still remember staying up all night to see our pick (something I usually never had to do as a jags fan😂) and Lamar being on the board and literally saying his name as we made our pick, but no yet another bust from Florida, and Lamar goes and wins mvp
15:05 Penny is not a miss but most definatly a meh, when healthy he is an amazing running back but he is never healthy. This year he had a long stretch where he was healthy and he ran for over 100 yards in all those games
Darwin James being meh is absolutely blasphemous. I get he’s been injured a lot but the last time he was fully healthy he was the best safety in the league.
I feel that Penny not being a hit, is because they didn't understand how to use him. They would put him in the game in the late second quarter. You could say that helped cause his injuries to be so frequent. But when he was healthy he played like an RB1, and he proved that by being our RB1. He killed it when he was healthy
Biggest reach of this draft was taking Saquon. I said it before the draft, you can’t take a running back that high. Nelson should’ve been the pick for the giants.
@Fries running backs should never go that high, saquon Barkley’s career so far answers the question for you. You don’t just get running backs like Derek Henry or Jonathan Taylor by taking a running back 2nd overall, focus on other team needs first
@Fries I doubt a team is only missing a running back, but let’s say they did only need a running back, they’d be best off trading the pick away for more later first round or second round picks
I mean he been available for a little over 50% of the game. Hard to be considered a hit if you don’t stay on the field. He is an excellent player but you have to stay healthy
I see your argument but that is only 2 possible seasons of data while Derwin could’ve had 4. McCaffery right now I think is overpaid and if I’m Carolina I’m trading him if I can. Especially if he gets hurt again
I dont care what yall say. Saquan Barkley as the 2nd overall pick in that draft is a miss. You dont spend that kind of draft capital for ONE successful season. Thats a Miss not a Meh

Well, as it currently stands, Josh Allen is the best pick from this draft class. He's a top 5 QB with great poise and rushing ability, a cannon arm, accuracy and IQ, And leadership to invigorate his teammates. He became what the Browns thought Baker would be. I just hope he stays healthy, because if he does, he very well could bring a few rings to Buffalo, even with how stacked the QB position is currently in the NFL. Best of luck to him. It's crazy that the QBs a lot of us grew up watching when were younger are mostly gone, and a new era of young QBs has taken the league by storm. 10 years ago besides Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers, the best QBs were Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, Tony Romo, Eli Manning, Big Ben, Joe Flacco, Matt Ryan, Matt Stafford, and Phillip Rivers. Still have a few of them, but all except Rodgers are on different teams and most are past their prime and soon to retire. We have a new QB room in the NFL, and it's great but sad to see those old faces go.
I still remember after 2018 everyone was ready to crown Saquon the best RB😂 I convinced my friends that yes he had a good rookie season but it wasn't extraordinary, let him prove that he's the best And unfortunately he didnt
People saying that the Browns should draft him number 1 overall. They waited until round 2 to draft a RB, and they got BY FAR the best RB in the draft.
@@wholesomecomment45 the point was he's a really good player but you can have the best G in the NFL and it doesn't win you games. It's not a position of value to be drafting a G in the top 10. It's one of the least impactful positions there are

And both missed time. Even removing Derwin’s 2022 pro bowl he’s by far one of the most decorated young backs playing currently
I thought this list was pretty spot on. One disagreement I would have is isiah Wynn. I felt he deserved a meh or maybe even a hit. Was definitely not a miss. Fun video!
I think Baker Mayfield is a little underrated here, he doesn’t get a lot of deserved credit here. Another person who perhaps is underrated is Josh Allen, who should be in a category even above “hit”. Allen is a contender for the best QB in the NFL right now, and an easy top 3 along with Mahomes and Rodgers. In my own opinion I’d say on an individual talent level, Rodgers is the only more talented QB than Allen right now in the entire NFL
It's great that everyone can see it and so many have commented on it. Now we just need other teams - and other sports - to please look at the example of the Bills development of Josh Allen. Instead of expecting immediate success and if it didn't come, ditching him in the hope of chasing short term gains (like what happens year after year with a lot of teams) they have developed one of the best QB's for years to come. Huge respect to Allen for his work (and talent) and the Bills strong leadership. 👍👍👍👍
Well he is injured every single season, I'd have a decent safety that can play 17 games rather than an good safety that can only play 3 games. Availability is the best ability

Ozzie Newsome’s last draft in charge of the Ravens. Drafted an all pro tight end in the 3rd round, Mark Andrews. Drafted a superstar quarterback at the tail end of round 1 and set the franchise up for 5 years of Lamar. Hit Hit Hit. The Ravens literally drafted Hayden Hurst’s replacement in the very next round of the same draft, and he got booted from the team. If that doesn’t make you a MISS, I don’t know what does

I feel that Penny not being a hit, is because they didn't understand how to use him. They would put him in the game in the late second quarter.
@Fries Realistically the 20s are the highest you should take a rb. Even then, it's only if you don't have any other significant needs.
lol "Roquan is projected to have a long career in the windy city".
Lol @ Derwin James being "meh". That's as good as those Justin Herbert hot takes hahaha.

As a Bills fan, I could agree. But Quentin Nelson has easily asserted himself as one of the best at his position
I still remember after 2018 everyone was ready to crown Saquon the best RB😂
I convinced my friends that yes he had a good rookie season but it wasn't extraordinary, let him prove that he's the best
And unfortunately he didnt
People saying that the Browns should draft him number 1 overall. They waited until round 2 to draft a RB, and they got BY FAR the best RB in the draft.
It was definitely extraordinary. Injuries are what's held him back, not talent
He's very talented, just injury prone
He's overrated
To be fair the injuries set him back his running style is something I never saw... which makes me think he may never get back to that level.

@@wholesomecomment45 G is the worst position on the OL. Having a good T and C is much more important. And even then it doesn't get you wins to have 1 great offensive lineman. Colts do have a great G I just don't think it matters as much as other positions

Even when this video was made that Derwin rank was silly. He made 1st team all pro for the SECOND time haha meanwhile one entry later Jaire is a hit despite never being first team all pro. And both missed time. Even removing Derwin’s 2022 pro bowl he’s by far one of the most decorated young backs playing currently
It was a good draft for the bills.

Agreed Isaiah Wynn has shown he can be a very good o-lineman
I think Baker Mayfield is a little underrated here, he doesn’t get a lot of deserved credit here.
Another person who perhaps is underrated is Josh Allen, who should be in a category even above “hit”. Allen is a contender for the best QB in the NFL right now, and an easy top 3 along with Mahomes and Rodgers. In my own opinion I’d say on an individual talent level, Rodgers is the only more talented QB than Allen right now in the entire NFL
I don’t know about saquon as meh
It's great that everyone can see it and so many have commented on it. Now we just need other teams - and other sports - to please look at the example of the Bills development of Josh Allen. Instead of expecting immediate success and if it didn't come, ditching him in the hope of chasing short term gains (like what happens year after year with a lot of teams) they have developed one of the best QB's for years to come. Huge respect to Allen for his work (and talent) and the Bills strong leadership. 👍👍👍👍
