Another excellent video, Ryan. And if you shoot black and white you can save a lot of money by developing it yourself which also can be quite relaxing. Oh and being able to meet new people in your local darkroom is super cool. Keep shooting and stay inspired! :)
Great video. Just bought a Nikon fm2 for my birthday. It is the camera I remember my uncle using as a child and it is compatible with most my lenses I already own. Just finished my first roll of film and am excited to get it developed to see if anything turned out. I like the anticipation that comes with film.
Thanks Julie! Congratulations for new film camera! Fm2 is such a beautiful and reliable camera! I hope you got some good shots from the first roll of film!
nice video. agree that enjoying the process is important. i like to think that when I have a camera, I have a reason to go out and explore the world. and If i get a photo or two that i like, it's just a bonus :)
@@RYANPARKPHOTOGRAPHY Zenit 11 is my favorite camera, because the light-meter always works without batteries. And my favorite lens is any Takumar. Takumar 최고~
Thanks for watching Richard! I have been using leica m3 and recently bought leica mp. I made a video about unboxing and will make video why i bought mp as well. It really depends on budget and use of light meter i think.
@@RYANPARKPHOTOGRAPHY I now have an opportunity to buy a used M-A in great condition. It obviously doesn't have a light meter but I'm sure I would get used to it.
@@gurugamer8632 i think it depends on your expectation of the outcome. I made a video last year how i develop and scan my bnw films. This is the link how i scan with mirrorless camera ua-cam.com/video/i4bZccLph74/v-deo.html

Thanks for watching Greg! I am also looking for a local darkroom but it seems like not easy to find one..
Very nice video Ryan! Great information as always 😃👍
Thanks Bro 😁

So true Aston. Exploring the world around us with piece of camera is so much fun!
Great video and explanation Ryan!
Thanks Henry! trying film this year??
Well said. No matter the year, there's always a time and place for film (as long as it's still being produced that is).
thanks for watching! Yes.. many films has been discontinued (very sad..)
It’s a vicious cycle, price goes up of film and d&p so people use less so manufacturers put up price and discontinue stocks so people use less …………….
Great video! I love film and vintage lenses
Thanks for watching! What’s your favorite film camera and lens~?

Great job explaining this Ryan! It’s all about the experience isn’t it? Some digital cameras also give you a similar feel but not most.
Thanks Alan,
Digital is so much fun but not as much as film for me 😁. Thanks for watching!
Love the vid! Film all the way!
Thanks! I love film so much as well!!
@@RYANPARKPHOTOGRAPHY awesome! I've started to make a few film videos too!
Great video. I currently shoot with the Olympus OM-1 and thinking of getting either a used M3 or a new MP. Any recommendations?

How do you develop and scan
I develop and scan bnw at home but send color to the lab 😁
