I have a few redscale rolls in my horde (lol) but haven’t shoot any 🙈 I read somewhere it works well during cloudy days and I see some of your shots with clouds look great~ very diffused looking. But the cow in high contrast light look good too! Also, your humour is 💯 😂
I definitely agree with the overcast scenarios! If you do end up shooting some redscale I'd be super excited to see what you get from your area! P.S. I think being tired / sleep deprived enhances my levels of sarcasm. I feel upset and insufferable while recording but watching back the video after some sleep, I could allow myself to be a bit more sassy lol
I relate so much to the 3 pillars sentiment you have~ I also want to make videos that I’d wanna watch myself and given my schedule, I really don’t want this to feel like another job haha I find your videos interesting though so keep at it! 😊 just don’t burn out 😩 I’ve also thought about patreon before but that feels like another layer of content to make to keep up. Maybe something like buymeacoffee would be more manageable? Or keep a low-tier where people can donate but won’t expect things if you feel me 😂 Also, prints/zines? 😆 (says me who have never set these up but just kept thinking about them haha)
I have contemplated burn out but that doesn't sound like a lot of fun! I hadn't considered the Patreon as another layer of work and that is a really good point. Maybe I'll start with buymeacoffee and see how that goes. Maybe a miracle will happen and squarespace can claim that sponsor spot I've been leaving in my videos for a bit now. (My first squarespace sponsored video will probably have a 6x6 camera in it)👀
In relation to what you said at the end.... what are your goals with your UA-cam? If its just for arts sake, practice making 1 small improvement each time..even if no one notices. You'll never have enough time or money.. one of the beautiful constraints of being a creative person is that we have to either be realistic and live within our normal lives, or forsake it all for art.. theres no happy medium! Have fun with the process
I would say that I definitely am enjoying the results of my work! I think the best work usually has a lot of restrictive external forces. I hope my rant at the end didn't come across as whiny, lol. I was very tired and probably should have put more thought into how I wanted that message to come across but, in case anyone reads this comment, I just want you to know that I want to push my limits not be comfortable inside them! Thank you for your comment @acecreates !
Neat video from what I've always found is unpredictable film!
It’s a gamble every time!
