"We have lost many brave men, but their sacrifice is not in vain. Our tanks now form a line of steel so powerful that all German resistance will be crushed beneath its mighty treads. Today - we will watch as Seelow falls. Along with all those foolish enough to stand in our way." Viktor Reznov
My suggestions are to do videos of cross sections of tanks such as: KV-2; M-18 Hellcat; and also a Tiger I tank. Here are couple of fun facts: 1. The second country in the world that had Sherman Tanks in big quantities was Yugoslavia. Some of these Sherman tanks that were stationed in Yugoslavia, they were used to make Yugoslav war movies. Also some US directors used these Sherman tanks when making war movies in Yugoslavia. Among them was movie Kelly Heroes, where Clint Eastwood, Donald Sutherland, and Telly Savalas were in that mentioned movie. Also in city of Novi Sad (today's Serbia) there is a Sherman tank which Donald Sutherland used it in mentioned movie. 2. After WWII, Yugoslavia made their modified versions of their T-34 tanks. Also some T-34's were rebuilt to replicate Tiger I tanks when making the Yugoslav war movies. Among these movies was movie The Battle of Sutjeska, where Richard Burton played Josip Broz Tito in the same movie. Also in Kelly's Heroes these rebuilt T-34 tanks were used there, imitating the Tiger I tanks. Somebody also told that these mentioned tanks were also used in movie Saving Private Ryan. And these are fun facts.
There's these series of books I loved as a kid, called "Steven Biesty's Incredible Cross-sections". Incredibly educational for history and engineering. Mine had the titanic cross-section as the cover.
Mephisto surfboard dude. Re: Sherman co-driver, not just in case the primary driver got incapacitated, but during long drives with little action, both drivers could alternate so the other could have a bit of a rest.
The m4 had a high survivability rate and when the us hit Germany all the tiger tanks were on the Russian front we mostly ran into Anti think guns teams hidings in bushes btw most if not all big German cat tanks were on the Russian front
The only tank I’ve ridden in so far is a Stuart tank, they’re cramped, noisy and hot and with all the hatches closed you can hardly see anything outside
The male version= the big loud boom and just needed one here in there to get its point across. Just like a man! The female version = the quick , loud version that seems like it'll never stop, and if you're on the other side, you're just praying it would stop , but you know that'll never happen. Perfect description with that of the female version. Sounds like a damn woman. 😂😂😂😂
Tank you for the awesome documentary.

As a tanker in the us military, I enjoy tank stories and tank history and as a young man I ended up enlisting to be a tanker best job ever!
Cross section videos are so great to watch. :)

I have that too, love that book
Great video Man. I love all your tank documentary
Nice video!
The earliest version of a tank i can remember are armored war elephants with ballistas on it´s back.
Fun fact the frontal armor on the Sherman and panther are pretty comparable. 3 inch to 3.15 inch with similar slopes.
