Few things that came to my mind as I was watching this vid and anyone who is in the process of hunting for places to live should consider: 1. Zillow- 6:04, although it looks like a great offer , it seems like too good to be true - and that's always a red flag you should keep in mind. You will come across many fraudulent postings - so be really cautious. 2. Courtney Cove apartments - just because they show you an apartment with nice pics it doesn't mean you will get the same. Always read reviews before - it is so important to review past /present tenants' experiences. So many times you hear people complain that the unit they got looked nothing like the one advertised on the property's website or the one they toured. 3. This one is probably most important - always confirm what the rental requirements are, almost always the min income is AT LEAST 3x the rent, but also good credit score etc. So do you math before applying lol you'll save a lot of money on applications.
When I left my 650 square foot apartment in 2020 in Tampa it was renting at $1,000 a month. In 2022 .,. 2.5 years later it's now renting at 1700. And by the way listed rental prices don't include other things like garbage /.pest control. A lot of places don't include that on the listing as it would make the rent even higher visually. You find out about that when you go to sign and they Jack you up an extra $100. I bought my Tampa condo for $100,000 in 2020 and it's now flying off the shelf at more than 200k.. prices in Tampa are unbelievable. I personally know people who have had to move back home with their kids. I also know people who have had $600 rent increases on their lease renewal. This is Tampa for anyone who's moving down here right now. Rent was definitely once cheaper here like 2 years ago. Rent is easily absorbing 50% of people's income. It is not a pretty sight in Tampa if you didn't already purchase. Or don't have money for a significant down payment. It's sad.
YAY The location of Tampa is PRIME because it's close to disney but close to beaches as well! Tampa is a fun place and loved the culture of Ybor City! Looking forward to visiting again and loved seeing the real estate and rentals in this video! You should do a video on beach from properties too

With the real estate market the way it is in Florida I’m actually surprised by the prices! But I understand rent was once even cheaper rhere
