    The sheer amount of manpower FDNY can throw at a scene in the blink of an eye never ceases to amaze me. Here in suburban SoCal, departments are lucky to be able to staff four-man companies, with plenty rolling three.

    thanks for showing the picking up. probably one of the most underrated but hardest and most important parts of firefighting.

    Great vid. Nice to see footage of the FFs putting their equipment back on the engines, first time I've seen it filmed.

    Hats off to FFs who stood out there with full gear in 90 degree weather. I guess they are used to it. Put me outside in shorts & t-shirt in 90 degrees and I start to wilt in 10 minutes. Nice to be able to see the organized way they load the hose. Another good one, my friend!!

    John. Very good on scene video!
    I'm NOT fond of videos just showing units responding. I know you make them because some people cant get enough lights & sirens. Keep up the great work.

    John, another great video. Beating them to the scene. It looked like everyone got out safe. FDNY is the best. Bill

    It looks like the building may not be a total loss. Good job to those fire fighters.for getting in and putting that fire out before the fire got out of control. I think the building will be restorable. Hopefully there were no injuries.

    Is the folding of hoses with all the firefighters a tradition in New York? I'm German and I've seen many videos with multiple firefighters standing in a row to fold hoses!

    On that gate entry, it would of been much easier to use bolt cutters instead of a k12 saw. IMO

      Ryan Haney It's easier for one guy to cut a case hardened shackle while holding bolt cutters at waist level than it is using the saw? Man, you must be unusually strong!

    • @JohnSmith-ip5ik
      @JohnSmith-ip5ik 5 років тому

      You may want to check your saw if bolt cutters are “much easier.”

    Don't you think at least one of them would move the garbage and chairs out of the way so noneone trips over it? It would make it so much easier to work also.
